INTRODUCTION
Consumer Decision-Making Process refers to a particular process which is used by the
consumers in order to take a buying decision related with the purchase of a specific product (Ali,
2021). Therefore, it is quite important for the different organizations that they are able to
understand the consumers and assess their particular needs and requirements in a better manner
which will be quite helpful in ensuring that the attainment of the future goals and objectives can
be made quite effectively and efficiently in a right way. In this report, a detailed focus will be
made on Demonstration of the ability to map a path to purchase, Evaluation of the different
forms of research. Additionally, evaluation of the way in which marketers influence the different
stages of decision-making process will be made as a part of this assignment.

P1: Analysis of the stages of the consumer decision-making journey
There are various stages in the consumer decision-making journey. It is quite important
that the analysis of these particular stages can be made in the right manner which will help a lot
in ensuring that the attainment of the future goals and objectives can be made in the
organizations. The explanation of these stages can be made in the following manner within the
organizations-
Need recognition- It is quite important for the customers that the identification of the
needs can be made in a right manner (An and Han, 2020). Therefore, it is very crucial for
them that they are able to assess their needs regarding the various types of goods and
services and are able to make sure that they can convey these needs so that the companies
can work on these needs and are able to fulfill them by providing the relevant products
and services.
Searching and gathering information- It is also important for the customers that they
are able to search and gather the required information which can be highly helpful for
them. They can identify and assess the different types of products which are available in
the market and can make sure that they can take the buying decision accordingly.
Therefore, in this way this will be helpful for the customers so that they are able to make
sure that they can purchase the right product.
Evaluation of the available alternatives- It is quite crucial that a proper evaluation of
the different types of available alternatives can be made which will be helpful in ensuring
that their use can be made so that the selection of a right alternative is made which will
help the customers in ensuring that they are able to purchase a right product which will
provide them with the desired value.
Actual purchase of the product or service- It is important that the consumers are able
to make the buying decision quite appropriately. This will be helpful for them because
