However, narcotics has a medicinal use by using it in limited amount but people utilise it as a drug abuse which is not legal because it has severe health effects. In context of present report, it is based on the topic of illegal use of narcotics including the aspects of classicism and positivism. Main Body Narcotics can be described as a drug that has a medicinal use in regards to producing analgesia for providing pain relieve to patients. It includes the therapeutic used of narcotics in in context of pain relief due to which it can known as narcotics analgesics. Meanwhile, it is beneficial for patients of use in limited amount with proper dosages on prescription of a registered physician. It has been analysed that many of people use narcotics as drug abuse which is extremely harmful for their health and this aspects is responsible for increasing risk of crime rates in the society. specific crime including the intension and cruelty. Furthermore, it is essential to set punishments for illegal use of narcotics so that people afraid of using it which facilitate to enhance health and wealth of the entire of society. On the other hand, the concept of classicism encourage legal authorities and government to establish policies and terms as per various types of crimes including illegal use of drugs. It is significant implement more effective as well as efficient legislations in regards to narcotics abuse so that future of country can be secured from darkness of illegal utilisation of narcotics. Basically, it is also mandatory to apply strong legislations for those people who has a business of supplying and producing this drug in illegal manner. However, it is very important to eliminate cause of illegal use of narcotics and other abusive drugs in the nation so that relevant crimes can be removed automatically from the society (Burke and Leung, 2016). It is the fact that it production and supply of narcotics will prohibited then nobody can buy it and attempt the drug abuse. Moreover, individuals involves in drug abuse are more likely to attempt crimes which is responsible for increasing the crimes in the country. Positivism can be explained as an approach to study the society that relies specifically on scientific evidence including statistics or experiments in order to reveal a true nature of way of society operates. It can be considered as philosophical theory stating that certain information is based on natural phenomena and their properties as well as relations.Meanwhile, it has been analysedthatpositivismdrawsonseveralproblematicsetsofassumptionssuchas differentiation, pathology and determinism. However, it has different perspective in regards to human subjects as compared to classicism. Moreover, positivist theory has positive perspectives that humans have no moral responsibility and they are forced largely forces to driven into crime that is out of their control. It states that individuals get forced emotionally and psychologically for using the narcotics as a drug abuse (Alecu, 2019). People prefer to use methods for crime that are driven from natural resources and crimes are caused due to psychological, social or biological factors which are included into assumption of determinism. On the other hand, positivism states about cause behind attempting a crime by an individual in society. It has been evaluated that the crime cannot be consider as a free choice but is determined which is stated by positivism due to which this is also known as deterministic theory (Lu, Miethe and Liang, 2016). Positivism provide the fact that people will get forced for drug abuse regarding narcotics and it is not a free choice due to which some of them attempt 2
criminal activities. However, classicism reflects that crime is a free choice attempt of people. Meanwhile, it is observed that positivism provide the concept that criminal is a specific type of person as criminals are different from the non criminals in country. It is essential to kept criminals away from non criminal personalities in society to make it peaceful place for living. Consequently, ithasbeenevaluatedthatthereisdifferentofpathologybetween classicisms and positivism which is about the fact that criminals are not only different from other people but there is also something wrong with them (Berry, 2018). Classism just define about criminals to be punished according to their cruelty and harm of crime. Positivism relies on the statement of a reason behind criminal behaviour of an individual. Conclusion From the above report, it has been concluded that narcotics can be described as an analgesic which has a medicinal use but get abused by some of individuals.
