INTRODUCTIONContemporary issue may be defined as any topic, event, idea, or opinion in a givensubject which is relevant to present day. It is a thing which is trending in the society usually maybe political, social or a business issue which effects the living of a people. Contemporary issuescan be found in the any matters of interest. An example of contemporary issue includes climatechange, economic crisis, inequalities etc and these problems have and effect on entire world.Contemporary issue introduces an individual to various issues present in the world. Thesecontemporary issues have an impact on people either positively or negatively. In this report Yo!Sushi is taken as an organisation, it is a company which is owns and operates and franchisesconveyor belt sushi restaurants mainly in United Kingdom. I was founded in 1997 by SimonWoodroffe and its headquarters is at Soho, London, UK. It main product is Sushi and sells Sushiin different parts of world. Yo! Sushi is specialized in delivering sushi to its customers usingJapanese style such as conveyor belt method. Its restaurants are mainly based in London andexpanding in UK. This report is based up on the drivers of change, drivers of changes may bedefined as those factors which are responsible for bringing change in entire organisation orindustry. These force can compel to change actions which result in to the change. Drivers ofchange can investigate the key trends and global issues in our societies and markets. Each andevery organisation has a particular reason for making changes in the organisation which force toimplement the change in an organisation and these forces are called drivers of change. It mayinternal or external which shapes a change in an organisation. Changes may crucial for theorganisation and need to frame strategies to deal with the changes effectively and efficiently.This report discusses about the drivers of change in Yo! Sushi and how does these drivers havean impact upon strategic decision-makings and other activities in an organisation. This reportalso discusses about the nature of pressure of change which is being brought by the drivers ofchange. Present report also discusses about how can an organisation can respond to the changeand adapt to the changes. This report also includes the recommendations which may enhance theresponse of the organisation for future.1

These are arises as aresult of current, past thinking or practices. On the other hand, future issue is also emerged withthe current thinking and practices of organization. As per Dyer, (2018). Contemporary issuesinvites the re-evaluation of traditional management practices. It is mainly focused on thedeveloping the thinking tools and practices that facilitate more adaptive responses to novel issuesas emerged. It is complexity in the society and community whereas how the social responsibility,leadership and ethics are interconnected with the enterprises decisions. According to (Gensler, 2011) Technology and demographic are important driver that helpfor business process to increase the popularity all over the world. This will be supported to thebusiness process where operates by IT system for Example- the organization are used the onlineorder service to provide the facility to the consumer and client. According to (Ibeh, Crick andEtemad, 2019)The manager expected the significant impact from operations to improve the useof technology. In this way, it also calculating the estimating cost and also compared with thebusiness re-engineering levers, shared services and commercial operations. According to (Kulshreshtha, 2015) technology is impacted on the strategic decision-making to increase the competition level, position and performance of business. Hypercompetition is forced to the Yo! Sushi firm to accelerate towards the decision-making processwither for growth and development of enterprises. As per (Le, 2019) Strategic decision-makingis crucial for organization to create competitiveness and requires for maintain the level ofperformance. This decision-making is increasing the speed process in start up. According to Liu and Jie, (2015) Decision making is the most important functions ofmanager that help for managing the business operations and functions. It is a complex processthat must understand the in proper manner. Manager is responsible person to handle the businesstask by using strategic decision-making. Schaper, (2015) it stated that the contemporary issueimpact on the strategic decision making in the business because it affected the social culture,performance of firm, size, cognitive conflict and cognitive diversity etc. 2
