INTRODUCTION
Travel and tourism sector is considered as one of the significant factors for the
development and growth of particular economy. In today’s scenario, it has been seen that this
sector is continuously doing well as well as advancing and progressing due to customer interest
towards travelling which give joy and happiness to their lives. Contemporary issues are
considered as problems which are taken into consideration within a specified period of time.
Further, use of different types of tools and techniques are utilised in order to sort out all the
problems related to contemporary issues in an appropriate manner. In this assignment, Scott
Dunn is being selected that is going to deal with all the inbound and outbound tourism of United
Kingdom. Now a days, it has been find out that all the travel tourism sector facing contemporary
issues which consider as one the growing sector as compare to others. Along with that, this
project discusses about different types of emerging trends which need to be evaluated for solving
distinct problems. Therefore, there is the need to include all such measures which help tourism
industry to adopt all the changes coming in external environment(Connell , 2013).

1.1 Analysing the issues which are currently drive changes in tourism sector
Travel and tourism industry is considered as a growing industry of organisation. It is
generally seen that people in order to fresh their mind and overcome from all stress they likely to
plan to visit at different countries. From the research it has been observed that tourism sector
contribute huge amount in the GDP of UK but due to some problem their graph of development
is likely to be less because of various issues. Scott Dunn have to be observed different types of
issues which are currently spreading out in tourism industry which stated below:-
Technological advancement: - With the advancement of technology in external
environment, various changes are coming which create hurdles on large organisation.
But, this development is beneficial for some business entities in order to reach at vast
number of employees. Although the advancement in technology in today time allow
organisation to provide the facility of advance booking due to digitalisation coming in
environment which become latest trend adopted by target audience. Further, due to
different start-ups, doing their business online has become a major issue for Scott Dunn
not understand the rapid changes arises in economy.

Tax structure:- In every country, different tax structures have been followed so Scott
Dunn require to understand all the legal laws and regulations in order to provide services
according to legislation of different countries. Non-compliance of laws create problems
in the growth of travel tourism industries.
Safety from terrorist attack: - Tourist belongs from different areas plan to travel in
other place when they ensure that company have strong military arrangement who protect
that place from terrorist industries. UK is consider as famous destination for visiting so it
is utmost responsibility of local authority to make proper arrangement of safety
mechanism. Due to increase of tourist population day by day government need to
increase all the safety mechanism of security of tourist.
Natural disaster: - Another major issues which likely to affect the popularity of tourist
sector is disaster coming naturally like earthquake, flood and cyclone which are
dangerous to the life of individual. They need to consider on all the issues which occur
without any warning. So proper action need to be taken against it otherwise visitors
always hesitate to travel that place.
Scott Dunn needs to identify and take appropriate steps in order to sort out all the problems that
arise from above point in order to improve the development graph of this sector which increases
profitability and efficiency of travel and tour industry(Dickinson and et. al. , 2014).
1.2 Analysis of various issues by using appropriate methods and techniques
In this sector, there are different types of issues which are needed to be determined in a
proper manner. The different problems and issues are required to be analysed in order to
overcome from such issues. Appropriate tools and techniques are required to be utilised in order
to identify all the problems in a proper way. Tourists always prefer to go at that place where they
see the attractive things which inspire them and provide affordable price in relation to residence,
food facility and adventure measurement. Tourist operator need to identify various methods
which are related to them.
Major issue and problem which identify by Scott Dunn that create hurdles in the
operations related to technological advancement, change in laws and regulation and inflation
problems.

establish such strategic policies which help in providing solution related to all the issues and take
appropriate steps which match all the requirement of changing environment. Thus, it is vital for
management team to collect all the information by conducting research through using different
methods and techniques. The most common source used by them are:-
Primary data: - Under this investigator collected all the data for first time which is original from

Adventure tourism:- Most of the visitor visit at different places for adventure which
include British museum, Big Ben and tower of London which are the prominent place
liked by tourist. These are the different destination which provide high level of
satisfaction to individual as well as group. Scott Dunn have to conduct trip for such type
of visitors in United Kingdom for earning more profit and efficiency.
Sports tourism:- Another important major trends in present scenario is inclinment of
individuals towards sports. Many people people have advanced booking in order to visit
place during sport season. According to the data of 2012, Olympics and Paralympics
increase revenue generation of United Kingdom. Therefore this passion of towards sports
increase the growth of tourist industries.

add the value in their existing products and introduce new goods and services which

Every organisation need to make alteration in their business structure in order to sustain
at international level. The main purpose of company is to sustain in society in ethical manner and
avoid all such alteration which cause damages to natural resources. In UK, there are different

Their are different consequences which can be faced by enterprise if they don't
