in travel and tourism sector in UK
The major trends of travel and tourism industry are the introduction of various types of tourism activities. This sector has further
divided into many different categories such as various types of travelling activities on the basis of its types, territories and basic
purpose of providing these kinds of services to its business clients, customers and potential and prospective customers. Following are
some of the different types of tourism are:
Inbound tourism- It is one of the main part of overall tourism department which generates large amount of revenue from this type of
tourism. It refers to that type of tourism of which includes local people , local community and normal residents of the country visiting
the famous tourists places of their country. The large revenue comes from the local persons of the country. The residents of the
country contributes large amount of sales revenue to the economy of the country.
Outbound tourism- It refers to that type of tourism which involves engagement of foreign visitors from all over the world. The visitors
visit the places by crossing their national boundaries will provide several benefits to the hosting country such as increase in foreign
exchange, enhancing the tourism of the country, value of host country increase, increase in popularity.
Sports tourism- Sports tourism is something that could become popular due to popularity different sports such as Asian games,
Olympic games, common wealth games and different sports tournaments. The recognition of this type of tourism increases due to the
enhancement of the level of tourism increases due to any particular sports events. In Brazil football is very famous sports which
generated heavy amount of revenue for the company.
Leisure tourism- When people visit to another country without specific purpose just for entertainment and other than these types of
tourism which helps to creates short-term employment for the retailers and other shop vendors of the country. It includes various
tourists destination such as adventurous trips, family vacations and other honeymoon packages. Another type of tour packages which
includes Cruise lines which is only afforded by high class peoples such as business class and other high-class families.

Establishment of new hotels is the revolutionary movement for developing the travel and tourism sector.
Constructions of new shopping malls are there to attract large amount of customers towards the business of the company.
Various airlines and tour operators are also providing more lucrative offers to the customers.

techniques and resources
There are different kinds of appropriate tools and techniques, resources
which we are using in the current business situation so as to increase the
market of travel and tourism of the company. Market research is one of
the effective tools and techniques company can use in order judge the
efficiency and effectiveness of the business environment. It helps the
tourists in many ways to select the appropriate tour operator by
investigating each and every information about the company. In the
present case scenario the company is looking to extend its business in
another market of tourism department.
Following are some of the techniques company may apply in order to
expand its business are Pestle analysis are:

PESTLE analysis- It is an strategic analysis of external business environment
or deep understanding of market research analysis. The tourism industry is
regarded as most popular and recognized sector in the hospitality industry. It
evaluates the current business position, direction of operational activities and
market growth or opportunities.
Political- It includes trade restrictions, tax policies, tariffs, labor law, environment law, Aircraft rules
and regulations.
Economic- It involves various aspects which can effect the functioning of the business are
globalization, Industry ownership, GDP per capital, Number of consumers, Unemployment rate, trade
balance.
Social factors- It comprises of basic and higher education, human development direction, consumers
buying patterns, brand image of a company, marketing and advertising of the company.
Technological factors- It involves maturity of technology, Research and development activity,
Replacement of existing technology with the new and latest technology in order to update with the
external environment.
Environment- It includes factors like climate, climatic changes, weather which disturbs the
functioning of airline business.
Legal factor- It includes various protection available to the customers against the employer such as
consumer law, employment law. discrimination law, health and safety laws and several measures
adopted by the organization which affect the company's cost, demand for particular products or
services and its also will affect all the operational activities of the business.

After analysing the external performance of the business
company may adopt other technique to expand its business
are target marketing and strategic positioning of the business
in order to judge the internal performance of the business as
compared to the external serious threats on the company due
to serious threats and challenges on the company.
