where people are spending large amount. In past the
travel and tourism activities are mainly focused on the
trade and food related requirements. But now the
purpose of travelling has been changed completely.

In Thomas Cook there are many employees who have
recently join the organisation and it is important to tell
them what are the trends which are influencing change
in the travel and tourism sector. It is the responsibility
of manager to analyse these issues on regular basis in
order to achieve the objectives.

Using of technology – In modern era, the impact of
technology has take the place. New technologies has
completely changed the landscape of sector. While
using the technologies has reduce the cost operation

for the tour operators. However, rising with the
instability of government in the country the company
can loose huge amount of profits from this sector.
Climate change – In country there are many people
who are making plan according to climate. The change

tourism sector. The tourism company have to cope
up with the government rules and policies in which
they can provide better services to customers. On
other side the government of UK has also to make
rules and policies. So that it be beneficial for the

using appropriate techniques and resources
Thomas has to make proper strategies and plans in
which they can enter into the niche market. There are
many sectors in which tour operator can be entered
into niche market but for that they have to properly
analyse the market research that what kind of products
and services they need.

the tour operator have to focus on the needs of old
