They are operating at more than 663 locations at worldwide.This report is going to determine the history about the respective company along with its mission, vision, leadership and style management practices which are adopted by an organization. They are offering variety of goods and services such as grocery, general merchandise as well as services related to finance. Additionally, they are involved in two business they are ASDA mobile and ASDA money. It is operating their business more than 663 location at worldwide. Mission:Its mission is to become Britain’s one of the best as well as valuable retail store by fulfilling and exceeding needs of customer. Vision:Its vision statement is that they want to develop and design appropriate product and services in order to fulfill need of customers as per need and preferences with in affordable price. Apart from this, ASDAwas first incorporated in year 1963 from which acquisition brother have converted their old building into supermarket store with the process of self service. After that in year 1965 respective people approach them with the second proposal that to run and develop their business with small store within different location with the partnership with Associated Dairies. Respectively, both the companies joinedtheir hands and stared their business together and run their business with the name of ASDA( Asquith and Dauries)..

Now a day the respective company is conducting its business at high level and their customers base is also enlarge as comparison to others. Thus, in this report, ASDA supermarket retail industry is selected because it is most appropriate sector or industry for this report as they have conducted their business in most appropriate manner. Moreover, with such business they are able to maintain their sustainability in competitive market place. Apart from this industry there is major role or involvement of leadership that help research to evaluate situations in effective and appropriate manner.Thus, they have adopted leadership techniques and style so that they can perform their business operation and activities in an appropriate manner. Vision, leadership style and management practices and strategies making use of various theories Herein, ASDA is a British supermarket retail store which is operating its business function and activities in different areas of United Kingdom and worldwide so that they can explore their business in an effectivemanner. It is headquarter is in England and they are generally operating is business through approx. 633 stores. They are providing variety of products and services such as grocery, general merchandise as well as financial services. Moreover,there are 165000 employee staff members who areworking with respective company in order to attain their mission and vision as well as attain sustainability forlonger duration of time. Additionally their mission and vision is to provide appropriate product and services within affordable price as per their need and preferences so that they can attain high customer loyalty in competitive marketplace.Herein, for such purpose manager of respective company need to conduct market analysis so that they able to identify and understand needs as well as requirement of customers. Accordingly the they can serve their customer so that they can attain more customer loyaltyin competitive market place.As they are developing themselves asper the need and preference of customeras in this manner their products and services in appropriate manner in order to attain goal and objective. According to this theory in an organization there are two type of employees having different behaviour i.e. behaviour X and behaviour Y employees. Theory X employees are those staff who always needs close supervision as well as these peoples didn't like to work. As in today’s context an individual always desire to have money so that they can fulfil their dreams in an effective manner.. Whereas theory Y staff like to conduct work as well as they didn't required any close supervision.Thus, in this manner an individual become more motivated and carry ought their work as well as activities in an appropriate manner. For such purpose some of the recommendation are determined below: Respective company in order to improve their working are they must adopt new and innovative promotional technology so that they able to attract more and more customers in effective manner. Along with this they must also provide training to employees so that they can do work in more appropriate manner. Herein, they need to engage their employees in decision making process so that get more innovative and unique ideas from employees as well as it will help them to have transparency within organization.
