INTRODUCTIONThis individual report is based on the uber company, which is American multinationaltransportation network company. This report will include the challenge that Uber is facing withthe help of the management theory. This also going to be explained the Corporate socialresponsibility within the Uber company. Further more the impact of the Brixit on the Ubercompany will be identified. Lastly reflection of own experience of working in a team, whatchallenges have to face will be described. MAIN BODY 1 key issues that Uber is facingUber is facing the problem of workplace culture. As its forwarded leaning approachcreated the significant workplace cultural challenges for the company. This had affected thebusiness and profit share of the company in the market and will also harm the future of thecompany as well. In this cultural issues include that, aggressive growth and intense competitions,fail to make prioritize the compliance, also have to face problem to the public as well, becauselack of internal transparency, another cultural problem is that lack of coordination andknowledge sharing among the employees of the Uber company that can help to solve the culturalproblem of the Uber. Another problem of the Uber in its cultural environment is the genderdiscrimination, women are treated badly in the company. This affect the brand reputation of thecompany (Thelen, K., 2018). For this Uber can apply the management theory of Hofstede's cultural dimentation theoryof the management culture of the uber company. This Hofstede cultural theory helps themanagement of the company by providing the tool to analyse the different cross culturalbehaviour of the different individual. This theory of the management include the different factorslike:Power distance — This refers to the inequality exist in the organization, as the Uber have theinequality on the basis of the gender and lack of transparency in the company. This power helpsto maintain the equality in the company.Individualism and collectivism – This helps to maintain the connections and sharing ofknowledge in the company of Uber. That helps remove this lack of cooperation in theemployees.
