This study analyzes the relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) and financial performance of the top ten oil and gas companies listed on the London Stock Exchange. It explores the impact of CSR activities on corporate governance, employee relations, human rights, and product quality. The study uses data from MSCL KLD to identify the 10-year performance of these companies and examines whether CSR programs directly contribute to financial performance in the oil industry. The findings highlight the importance of CSR activities in gaining competitive advantages within the market.
