1. ExecutiveSummaryGreen Concept © 2016 is founded by a group of young passionate students who areinterested in making healthy foods for a healthy living. The goal is to bring the idea ofhealthy-eating to the local people and bring up their concerns of being healthy.Company Goals and Objectives:Promoting healthy-eating cultureCreating amazing productsFulfilling customers' needs and keeping customers’ loyaltyMaking profit and enhancing revenueThe proposed location of the shop is in Langham Place, Mong Kok. The targetedcustomers include staff working at nearby offices, members of fitness centres andpeople who are health-conscious.Green Concept will operate as a limited company for to its high flexibility. Each of thesix owners will contribute approximately HK$260,000 to develop the company. Theshare of the company will be divided evenly with 16.66% for each owner.Healthy food industry in Hong Kong is an upward trend with the support of HKgovernment. Since 2008, the government has been promoting healthy food to thepublic. In addition, Hong Kong people emphasise on their health in recent years. Nowadays, most food from stores and food shops are made of artificialingredients, which may adversely affect the health of customers since they do not knowhow to select the right choice of food for themselves. 2.1 Industry DescriptionHong Kong people start to emphasise on their health in recent years. The change oftrend of catering cannot be denied.On the other hand, fast food shops like Fairwoodand McDonalds are trying to change their “junk foodimagesby introducing healthyfood menus.With the help of HK government on promoting healthy food, the“EatSmart@restaurant.hk Campaign”program was introduced in 2008. The aim of theprogram is to create healthy eating environments for the public so that they can eathealthily at home and have more tasty and nutritious choices when dining out. Withthese facts, the upward trend of healthy food industry in Hong Kong is convincing.2.2 Form of OwnershipIn Hong Kong, most SME businessescan bedistinguished in two models, unlimitedcompany and limited company.In this project, limited company is proposed because ofits high flexibility.As a developing business, new investors are always welcome. A limited company canprovide more rooms in this situation. Shares can be divided into different percentage tofulfil the amount of new capitals. If existing partners want to withdraw, the share can besold to others directly. 2.3 Social ResponsibilityBesides promoting green and healthy food to the public, we will also join the FoodAngel Programme to donate our contribution to the society.Page 5 of 26
