INTRODUCTION
Managing a successful business is one of the important aspects that helps in
understanding the way a particular enterprise is effectively managed so that it can enjoy more
sales and profit margin. This report has contained research pertaining to “ the major external
events such as Covid-19 has transformed workplace in the organisation”.

Overview of organization
Amazon is an American international company that focuses on providing services such as
e- commerce, digital streaming, artificial intelligence and cloud computing. Company have been
initially founded on 5 July 1994 by Jeff Bezos with an motivate to earn high profit margin.
Moreover, the company is among five biggest company in United States operating its function in
information technology industry. Its competitors are Microsoft, Facebook, Apple and Google
working to provide better services to customers for fulfilment of their respective requirement.
Therefore, currently the organization is having around 1,335,000 employees and earned revenue
around US$386.064 billion.
AIM, OBJECTIVE OF PROJECT
Aim
To evaluate the way major external event such as covid-19 has transformed workplace in
information technology industry of United Kingdom. A study on Amazon.
Objective
 To understand about impact of Covid-19 on firm.
 To evaluate the way Covid-19 has transformed workplace at Amazon.
 To identified strategies that are used by company in order to grow and sustain in case of
Covid-19.
 To suggest strategies that could be sued by firm to transform its workplace.
Research questions
 What are the impact of covid-19 on firm?
 How covid-19 has resulted in transformation of workplace at Amazon?
 What are the strategies used by Amazon to enhance its work culture in order to promote its
smooth operation?

 What are suggestion that could be sued by firm to transform its workplace?
Project management plan: It is document that contained completed detailed related to the way
research will be conducted or completed. Such as what all risk, scope, budget and quality of the
project or study that are going to be pursued by the researcher through making use of different
techniques and method. Likewise:
1. Cost: It helps in understanding total amount of expense or cost that researcher will make
in order to complete the study on the way external environment factor lead in
transforming the workplace of organization. For examples: it has been estimated that
around $800 will be required to complete study on the subject to gathered sufficient
information (Carnevale and Hatak, 2020).
2. Scope : The scope of the project will be narrow as it will only contain study pertaining to
Amazon such as the way covid-19 has lead in transformation in the workplace of United
Kingdom.
3. Risk: There are several risk associated with the project such as time and resources as all
these will be invested to gathered more and more sufficient information related to impact
of covid-19 on workplace transformation in Amazon (Kuenzi, Stewart and Walk, 2021).
4. Quality: The quality of study will be maintained through taking information from valid,
reliable sources, well known author etc. Along with it article that are recently published
will only been taken into consideration to have research.
5. Communication resources: In order to communicate the information gathered related to
the study to its stakeholders such as employees, customers and many other individuals
email will be used. As it helps in communicating information to maximum number of
people in limited time frame (de Lucas Ancillo, del Val Núñez and Gavrila, 2021).
6. Time-frame: It has been estimated that around 12 weeks will be needed in order to complete
