EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The following report discusses about the concept of crime and punishment in Victorian
times till the phase of current situation. The report main aim is to analyze the evolution of
different cities from middle ages till current on the basis of certain aspects like unemployment,
racism, slavery, homelessness and many more. It discusses about how both crime and
punishment influences the society. There are different things which have been implemented like
in the form of new poor law. This law was established to provide clothing, food to all people
who can’t afford it. The below report also discusses about the concept of division of labor which
is dependent on the basis of two elements that is certain vital movements and relationship within
those movements. In terms of the concept of slavery it is evaluated that if a person becomes slave
of another then they automatically sells themselves. Every individual has the right to analyze
their power of liberty. As in terms of both crime and punishment, in middle ages people used to
do lot of crime and the punishment which used to be given was extremely harsh but as per
current situation it is not much harsh and the crime rate is also low.
