Abstract
The focus on U.S law enforcement urge to counter terrorisms strongly supported with various
strategies that the organization, from its inception to the current cases being witness, devised to
support its need to end terrorism. U.S experiences challenges with the emerging issues in
security, the organized groups and terrorist has strongly driven the country’s economy to a threat.
This article analysis’s various strategies and the essence of the law enforcement to encounter
terrorism in the U.S as a policy. The terrorist groups enlisted in the paper are ISIS and al-Qaeda
that have continuous incidences reported in the country.

The U.S law enforcement agency was established after encountering several attacks
amounting to 9/11. The attacks were devastating to the nation and thus the security was created
to coordinate and unite the country’s security efforts. The country has more often encountered
horrible terrorism attacks which cause a great challenge that confront to the citizens and the
nation as a whole. To identify, prevent and protect from and contain terror attacks and threats,
the U.S security enforcement has made progress in their manner of operations (Funk &
Trauner, 2016).
The Primary Policy of U.S Law Enforcement
With the emerging issues in the security system today, the key priority of the U.S law
enforcement should be to counter terrorism using its tools and expertise to fight terrorism and
curb changes relating to terrorism.
Research that Justifies My Policy
The primary transnational terrorist threat to the U. S is the Radical Islamist terrorist.
Them exists prominent organizations known as the ISIS and al-Qaida that have often managed to
attack or have intension stop attack the U.S with continuous plots to new attacks (Cynthia Lum,
2018). As they exploit the U.S government, they destabilize the country and its interests through
conflicts and political grievances with the objective of eliminating western influence in Muslim
nations. These terrorists have adapted tactics and technologic advances in their operations and
us, the law enforce body has to acritical counterterrorism these organizations by adopting agile
measures. Even though the groups underscore their potential threats to the U.S, they bomb,
murder several people, imprison, kidnap and torture the citizens. Moreover, domestic terrorists
