Introduction
The report aims to determine the security of USA against terrorism related activities.
The4 report has been constructed accordingly to determine the preparedness of USA and the role
of the country against global terrorism after the attacks of 9/11.
Current state of threat to America from terrorism
Since the terrorist attacks of 2001 the Government of United States of America provided
more attention towards protecting the country from different kinds of Jihadists attacks and
targeted people with Jihadist ideologies. This led to little or least focus over the local criminals
especially the ones with US based extremist ideologies and movements. However reports by the
US intelligence agencies suggested that a majority of the bomb blasts were generated by local
extremists (Bader, Reade & Froese, 2016). The face of US terrorism has totally changed in the
modern world. Nowadays, the most common types of terrorism activities in USA have changed
to include the likes of hate crime. The hate crime is defined as the latest form of terrorism in
America. The Jihadist organizations thus are no longer a threat to America. The place has been
occupied by individuals who having ready access to guns, radicalized by a diverse range of
ideologies causes tremendous havoc by involving them in mass killing of innocents. There have
been numerous such instances in America which have changed the situation of threat in the
country. This includes the likes of sending package bombs to then President Barack Obama,
shooting at a grocery store in Kentucky, killing of innocent children in an American school and
many more as such.

Discussion 1
Based on the context, according to FISHER (2015), there was a double standard that
occurred between the state officials and they were found to be using illegal immigrants who
used to exploit take home financial amounts. The illegal immigrants were mainly targeted by
the US President and wealthy people who were forced to work at their own home for personal
purposes and even at the farms by providing lesser amount of money, that too, secretly. To
resolve this issue, it would be important to maintain proper border security forces and protect
the Environmental rights to deal with the environmental issues associated with the
Department of Homeland Security (FISHER, 2015). The waiver should protect the illegal
immigrants and also keep the environment safe and protected while the US Government must
implement laws and safety rules including Solid Waste Disposal Act, the Administrative
Procedure Act, Federal safety drinking water Act, etc. to preserve the culture and ensure
safety of environment. The Government should also make the Environmental Impact
Statement public to prevent any decisions made during the wall construction (Brians et al.,
2011).

According to GAO (2017), the maritime borders should be strengthened, which could
be possible by developing models with the involvement of Customs and Border Patrol in US
and Coast Guard. The CBP has also undertaken initiatives to enhance the level of security
during the transfer of cargo from the foreign ports to the United States. The most important
things to be done for dealing these kinds of issues are to address those, plan and finally focus
on strengthening the maritime security and borders as well (GAO, 2017). The operating
procedures should be standard for creating the best task forces and for ensuring that there are
