The term IS / IT Strategy refers to a planning document that describes how technology and

Effective IS strategies help organizations improve performance while achieving their
business and IT goals. An important area of retail store management is operational
management (Datry and Heino, 2016). This is partly due to the premise that retailers often
encounter customers directly and need more control over activities that directly affect them in
order to provide better service. Modern retailers, typically supermarkets, have invested
heavily in technology infrastructure to support their operations. This has some advantages,
but it also has disadvantages. Operations management is a very broad topic in retail
management, so all its components should be considered when deciding which electronic
resources to use. Evaluating how diverse data technology implementations affect functional
administration in the retail sector will enable merchants to incorporate various innovations to
effectively comprehend processes from a tactical perspective. One must consider the
understanding process (Veljkovic and Budree, 2019). Such retail establishments have
significant business challenges in integrating technological advancements efficiently to
enhance the retailing distribution network as well as address issues brought on by constantly
changing client demands including retail trends (Sabharwal and Houghton, 2021).
Installing information technology solutions in the retail business has ramifications

Inventories, demand planning, supplier relationship, process theory, and capacity planning
are all improved for managers who have incorporated provincial information technology
infrastructure. Despite the many benefits, information technology has posed several
