IntroductionIn the modern era, there is convergence and collaboration, the organisation is continuallybeing forced to become lean. There are many firms who find out the solution for improvement inbusiness process as the product they make or buy become more commoditized. In systemprocess, there is two type of approaches that are hard and soft modeling approaches (Zhu, andAzar, 2015). In the hard system, it is considered as a system in which goal with purpose isclearly defined. While soft system methodology is known as the strategy in order to analyse theissues which are complex and problems are not well defined. The present report covers differenttypes of system approach and its impact on the performance of the company. Along with thisrecommendation will be provided related to the best approach which can be used by managementfor accomplishing success. Hard and soft approach According to the view of Rus and Tolley, (2015) business process is paramount for firmsin order to stay competitive. Since from last few years due to increase in demand of betterproducts and services from the customer side, the firm has started making improvement in theirbusiness process Author defined a system is a set of the interacting system among them some ofdo not work and can be an engineer to better work. As per the general system theory, a systemset is interrelated elements in this element include are people and things which are related togoals. In system approach it considers system thinking with respect to understand the world andits behavior. It includes use of various system concepts and methodologies and lead toconstruction of model of system. Gupta, Cecen, and Kalidindi, (2015) argued that systemapproach not able to attempt to understand everything related to the system, instead of it tried tocover all the factors which are appropriate for the problem under consideration. The furthersystem is classified into two extremes that are hard system and soft system. In a soft system,approach engineering approaches do not fit as because under this problem are soft. On the otherside, under hard system approach system engineering fit as because well-defined problem solvedunder this. Overall soft approach seen as a problematic and its outcome is that progress isthrough learning. A hard system approach is that which has a clear purpose and appropriategoals. Along with this, they are effective in order to design a solution that assists inaccomplishing those goals. In hard approach, the information system is viewed as an input3
