1. Introduction
Sustainability in organizations is dependent on the uninterrupted functioning of the
processes while maintaining frequent innovations. The triple bottom line approach that is
considered by the organizations assists the same in developing their competitive edge in relation
to economic, environmental and social sustenance. However, the different barriers that are faced
by the organizations has affected the capabilities of the same in developing suitable opportunities
for sustenance. The research has taken steps to delineate the possible ways in which an
organization might support the sustenance of the same while operating in diverse international
markets. On the other hand, the research also enumerated the challenges that are encountered by
the organizations while developing the sustainability of the same.
1.1 Purpose of the critique
The critique of a research paper aims at identifying the major points of concerns and the
pints that are addresses in the research for assessing the effectiveness of the study. The critique
will also focus on the materials that are presented in the study in a sequential order for
identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the arguments that are presented in the research. on
the other hand, the research critique will also involve an evaluation of the methodology that is
used in the research and the effectiveness of the same in guiding the study to the outcome. The
evaluation of the paper will help in identifying the different limitations of the study and thereby

help the future researchers in understanding the prospects for undertaking future research. The
research paper was divided into three sections, which will be evaluated separately in the critique.
2. Analysis on the first section
Analysis on the research problem and objectives
The research was undertaken with a purpose of evaluating the sustainability based needs
of the same in different contexts. The first section introduced to the recent challenges and the
“Mega Trends” that are encountered by most of the nations and businesses relating to
sustainability of the same. The researcher delineated 10 major challenges that are faced by the
organizations and nations and classified the same in accordance to their impact on the economic,
social and environmental sustainability. After identifying the different challenges that are faced
by the nations and the businesses in maintaining the sustainability of the same has affected the
capabilities of the same in adhering to the triple bottom line approach. At this phase, the
researcher aimed at delineating the major factors that have affected the sustainability of the
nations and corporations.
The introductory phase of the research failed to enumerate research objectives and
questions, which will guide the entire research study. Hörisch, Freeman and Schaltegger (2014)
stated that delineation of the objectives and a structured methodology helps in guiding the
research towards the favorable outcome. On the other hand, the lack of suitable research design
has affected the capabilities of identifying the possible hypothesis and the manner in which the
research might be conducted. It has affected the capabilities of the researcher in undertaking
systematic evaluation of the different factors relating to the study. Lack of suitable research
design has affected the capabilities of the researcher in representing the findings.

3CRITIQUE REPORT
Analysis of Literature Review
The researcher narrowed down the research objectives for studying poverty and climate
change and the manner in which it affected the sustainability of the same. Narrowing down the
research topic helped in enhancing the prospects of the study through detailed research on
particular aspects while studying the impact of the operations. The researcher also took the
initiative to delineate the different steps that are undertaken by the world leaders in order to
support the sustainable growth of the same in accordance to the needs of adhering to the triple
bottom line approach. Amran, Lee and Devi (2014) also projected different issues that are faced
by the global population due to lack of accessibility to abundance of food, safe water and
sanitation related issues in the research. The concerned researcher took steps to reflect on the
Nominal world GDP since 1990-2030, which helped in identifying the manner in which the need
of the population evolved between the years.
The developments that are made by the corporate and the national leaders were portrayed
to be insufficient for meeting the sustenance needs of the people. The delineation of the impact
of the unequal distribution of wealth and global stewardship, in the research, helped in
identifying the major causes that led to sustainability issues. The research also included the
different challenges that are faced by globalization while maintaining the sustainability of the
same in the tipping point. The study portrayed that the short term beneficiary approach of the
corporations and the political factors affected the capabilities of sustainable globalization, which
restricted the potentials of sustainable globalization. According to Daunorienė et al. (2015), the
issues that are faced by the corporations and the nations while developing sustainable
globalization in accordance to the triple bottom line approach has affected the sustainable
operations. However, the concerned researcher utilized few quantitative sources while evaluating
