INTRODUCTION
Overview of the topic
This is stated that the company is proving importance of the CSR activities which are
helpful for enhancement and performance appraisal within the organisation. This has been
analyse that the company is useful for analysing major techniques and make growth in business
activities and use social welfare and environmental impact on the company. With the help of
corporate social responsibilities for the betterment positions in the performance management in
the organisation. This is basically related to partnership business corporation and make
systematic changes in the active group activities and make community department. It will be
helpful for generating emerging perspective on the CSR activities to achieve performance
management within the organisation (Lu and et.al., 2021). As per the research activities, talking
about the research ethical and crucial concepts to make development for growth of business
activities. It will be helpful for the society and the business activities to growing society values
and achieve the development process for the environmental and human right policies in the
major environmental process. It will be helpful for the growth of CSR activities are helpful in
environmental policies and make effective financial performance for the growth in addressing
issues.
Overview of the company
For completing this report, the chosen company is Next Plc, is a UK based retail industry
for analysing the market and offer the exciting, beautiful and excellent for the quality of clothing
in distributed with the main three channels in retail, directory and international channels. The
company was founded in 1864 and its headquartered is in Enderby, England, UK (Ahmad and
et.al., 2021). The company is related to work and make systematic changes in the creativity and
work culture. There are different challenges which are face by the company to provide 500 stores
and growth in managing effective segment.

What is the concept of corporate social responsibility?
As per the view of Waldron, (2021), the use of corporate social responsibilities, is a broad
to make effective business concepts to describe the commitment for carrying the business in an
effective way. The use of the CSR can put across the work and complete different business
activities in an ethical manner. The use of an effective companies and make different practices to
apply the management and achieve effective principles of the use of sustainable development.
This is the function that is related to organisational growth and make a high level impact on their
decision and make basic activities for the use of society and environmental development. With
the use of effective health and well-being society, laws and consistent standard of national and
international behaviour can be integrated throughout the organisation and make suitable
relations. The term Corporate social responsibilities is helpful for generating the sustainable
mindset (Ratajczak, 2021). However, the path and other circumstances are helpful for using
effective sustainable development way. The next plc, is using effective and appropriate
responsibilities to make important aspects for us and achieve approaches for the reporting
activities, criteria and methodologies are used. The main aim of the company is using effective
customer's expectation by providing sources and make exciting designed, excellent quality and
many other household and accessories items for their valuable customers.
What are the basic roles of CSR in improving business performance of Next Plc?
As per the view of Tsang (2021), the use of the CSR within the practices is helpful for
integrating the need and make environmental and social goals for having different business
operations. It would be helpful for generating the source and use control cost, company's brand,
attract the quality management in long term financial success and growth. For the Next Plc, the
use of CSR being a global business become the issue which make a significant aspect for the
growth of business activities to employer and supply chain management. With the use of
effective CSR activities company ensure their activities in an ethical manner, recognise and
improve the human rights. Take care of their employees and deliver the charitable donation in
the society. The company is improving their business qualities with their suppliers, customers,
people, environment and the community. Next Plc, is recently launched the CSR strategies for

setting the ambition to use sources to 100% for the raw material mainly known, responsible or
effective routes by the end of 2025 (Crovini, Schaper and Simoni, 2021).
What are the effective ways for improving business performance of Next Plc?
According to the view point of Upadhyay (2021), there are different strategies used by
the company to improve their business performance in the market. The use of primary financial
objectives is related to deliver the long term, sustainable and return the shareholders approaches
for the growth in effective earning per share value. Some of the major strategies are related to
improving and developing the products range, success and measured growth by the sales
performance. Mainly focus on the customer experience and achieve effective satisfaction in retail
and online stores. With the help of appropriate sources, in profitable Next Online credit and cash
customer to spend their business activities in UK and international market (Osemeke, 2021). The
success is to achieve effective profits and make contribution to manage the stock on effective
capital and against appraised nature with targets. In last the company is using effective returning
surplus and make shareholders by effective buybacks and special dividends for the growth within
the companies.

Research methodology is the technique or procedure for gathering and evaluating
accurate data regarding any topic. There are various methodologies that helps researcher in data
collection and analysis. These methodologies are defined as under;

Main purpose of the research is to facilitate researcher in gathering and evaluating
reliable data. There are basically two types of research approaches that are qualitative and
quantitative. Both approaches are effective in data collection but for gathering information about
the impacts of corporate social responsibility on business performance of an organisation (Awan,
Arnold and Gölgeci, 2021). One of the main reason behind selecting quantitative approach is it
facilitate in numerical data collection and able to done in large sample size. Quantitative method
is helpful for generating knowledge related to primary and secondary data information and
complete the research in an ethical manner.
Research design strategies
There are different type of research strategies that is helpful for completing research in an
appropriate way. This is beneficial for considering the approach and complete their research
methodologies. The main research strategies that are helpful in completing research are related
to, case study, qualitative interviews, quantitative survey, action research and systematic
literature review (Hansmeier, Schiller and Rogge, 2021). Here, the researcher collect the survey
method for completing effective research techniques and telephonic questionnaire method has
been used. This method is helpful for generating effective techniques and make a growth in
comparing CSR activities on the growth of business activities and management process.
Data collection and sampling methods
In order to collect the data through different major changes to work and make effective
data collection challenges. Their are various methods related to questionnaire, interview and
observation to analyse the systematic changes in the research methodology. Researcher use
questionnaire and sampling method for completing the research on time. This method is helpful
for time saving, useful for large number of audience and able to interact with the other people via
face to face. Whereas this is time consuming and high cost method. With the help of sampling,
the number of respondents would be 40 and they are the employees of the Next plc (Kapantai

and et.al., 2021). This is helpful for generating effective growth and apply for effective supply
and changes in the research methodologies. It will be helpful for generating growth and know
more about CSR application and major challenges.
Data analysis
This is the method that is helpful for completing research method and make systematic
growth in the completion of research. This method is related to quantitative method and needed
to complete with primary and secondary source of data collection. For the use of primary source,
researcher, collect questionnaire method with the use of sampling method. On the other hand,
for secondary data method, researcher use online articles, newspaper, books for gaining more
appropriate knowledge. Further, researcher choose SPSS software for completing research and
use quantitative approaches that has been used for the statistical data in the collection as per the
progress and major changes in the work style (Muñoz-La Rivera and et.al., 2021). It will be
helpful for the researcher to considering the process and achieve different sectors to use data and
helpful in completing research.
