INTRODUCTION
Corporate social responsibility is defined as a business model which include policies and
practices that organisation undertake in order to have a positive influence on the world
(Advantage, 2020). The main reason behind CSR practices is to maximize overall profit while
including minimising impact upon environment. With the help of CSR practices organisation can
not only create positive brand image but can also build trust, enhance positive relationship,
increase profit and can significantly increase professional and personal growth. Present report is
conducted on Gourmet Bean which is operating in Australia and was founded in the year 2015.
Report include key discussion upon drivers of CSR for company, benefits of implementing CSR,
barriers of implementing and developing CSR and two forms of engagement for different group
of stakeholders.

Gourmet Bean is operating in Australia and was established in the year in 2015 and have
its headquartered in Sydney. Respective company is having specialisation in the gourmet coffee,
lunch and breakfast for the busy in health-conscious demographic in Sydney. Gourmet Bean
undertake use of organic coffee which helps them to satisfy needs and demands of consumers in
a well -defined and effective manner (He and Harris, 2020). It has been noticed by the new CEO
of the government has been Samantha Smith, that it is essential for organisation to emphasize
upon corporate social responsibility in order to make significant improvement in brand image
and reputation, as with the help of this they can efficiently ensure long-term success in industry.
Company is operating with a mission to provide excellent services with best fresh roasted coffee
to consumers with their commitment towards consumer service and employees. Mission
statement of company also include emphasise towards environment and community. They are
operating with certain core values which include quality, innovation, integrity, respect, honesty
and reliability. Currently this organisation is emphasising upon certain policies in which they are

using paper cups which is cheaper than biodegradable cups. In this if company use biodegradable
cups then they have to increase the coffee price. Furthermore, Gourmet Bean have also undertake
any use of initiative to encourage consumers to use reusable cups and they have also tied with
local nursery in order to collect coffee ground waste for vermicompost. In this it is essential for
Gourmet Bean to emphasize upon more CSR practices in order to achieve your long-term growth
and higher brand image in industry. In this there are certain areas of CSR which is relevant for
company goals the government coffee is required to emphasize on reduction of carbon and water
footprint with the help of sustainable and inclusive business practices. Furthermore, waste
management and water conservation and renewable energy will also help Gourmet Bean to
support environment sustainability. Company is also required to undertake use of programs
which emphasizes upon education and skill development. These areas play important role for
company, as it will help them to ensure long-term sustainability with less impact on
environment.
