INTRODUCTION
Creative event and entertainment industry can be described as a sector that aims to
provide the audience with unforgettable and wonderful experiences by organizing different types
of programs, cultural events, award shows, music festivals, talk show, fire and light shows and
many more of such events (Mehrotra, and Lobo, 2020). The present report is based on
organizing of a cultural event within London which will be based on the culture of Chinese
people. The present report discuss all the key aspects with respect to organizing of the cultural
event within the country. It aims to determine if organizing the event is feasible in terms of
finances, operations, management, and on the basis of technicality or not. The report also discuss
the place at which the event will be conducted, the number of people that will be attending the
event, and the programs and performances which will be taking place within the event. The
present study also provides a brief introduction and insight of the wonderful Chinese cultural to
the audience of the United Kingdom.
Overview
Creative event and entertainment industries refers to an industry in which helps various
organizations and project executors in enhancing the experience of the customers by providing
them with unforgettable experiences with respect to organizing cultural and entertaining events
across the globe. The creative event and entertainment industry includes films, televisions,
events, radio, social media platforms. These which are provided to the audience with the help of
these platforms are considered as the major product of the creative event and entertainment
industry (Bauer, and Reiss, 2019). The executive of creative events helps in creating an
influential impact of the audience. These platforms provide a base for various individuals to
showcase their talent in front of a large audience across the globe. With the help of these
platforms, important information can be provided to a large audience, one can also take steps in
order to create cultural awareness with respect to their specific cultures to educate other people
about the different cultures existing within the nation.

According to Doumi, Kyriakaki and Stavrinoudis, (2020) it has been stated that
organizing the culture is quite important for an individual from where they can be able to share
the enough, knowledge, education, information, promotional activities and a kind of
entertainment process. However, the cultural event is simply defined as an event which is
organized in regard to promoting the fie arts, skills and talent of the different cultural people
from where they can express and show their performances which enable the society to
understand their education.
Malik (2020), said that the cultural events not only organized to share the information in
relation to different cultures but it also enables to make an appropriate connection between the
culture, business and management from where they can be able to promote and enhance their
business efficiently. This cultural event provides an opportunity to the people to visit and
develop their interactions which will help and support them in forming and developing the
business efficiently.
Theme 2: Generating the revenue from cultural NYE experience
As per the view of Habibi, Rahmati and Karimi, (2018), it has been said that organizing
the events helps and supports the organizer to generate and obtain the revenue from the events
efficiently. The purpose of organizing the events enable the individual person to gather and meet
new people who are always interested in adopting the knowledge of different cultures. However,
there are many people who are interested in gaining the knowledge of Chinese culture where it
provides a great experience to them. There are many places and counties where the cultural
events have been organized during the new year evening where the people are mostly excited to
visit these cultural events. The organizers who organize the event are able to adopt and generate
the revenue from such types of event in definite manner. The revenue generates from the events
where it includes selling of sponsorship, VIP registration, selling of merchandize and such more.
Thus, for generating the revenue and profit in the creativity and entertainment industry
organizing the events is the way to obtain higher profit.

society
According to Krulatz, Steen-Olsen and Torgersen, (2018) cultural events promotes the
cultural awareness among the people and society where it provides the benefits effectively. There
are many cultural events which are organized from where the people can be able to know and
understand the different culture and their traditions in definite manner. It is important because it
helps to break down the cultural barriers, building of cultural bridges and can efficiently
overcome these cultural differences in definite manner. The cultural events organize to provide
the knowledge and information to the people and society about the different religion, culture and
their rituals from where the people can understand and respect each culture importance. It
enables the visitor to know the different languages and their class and rituals which enhances the
knowledge effectively.

The market trends can be described as any change within the market with respect to a
change in the preference, taste and needs of the consumers which has the potential to affect the

Summary of the findings
The present report aims to organize a NYE cultural event which will be based on the
culture of Chinese people and will be executed in London. It has been determined that the major
reason behind conducting this event is to general revenue by providing the audience with an in
person event based on the culture of Chinese people. It has been identified that earlier, there was
a craze among the audience to visit and attend events but due to the outbreak of Covid 19, there
was a restriction on organizing public events all across the globe. But, now, the trends within the
Creative Events and Entertainment industry are again changing. Now, the project executors and
management teams have been focusing on organizing hybrid events within the country. This is
so ensuring that organizing of public events do not harm or compromise any individual’s health
and while conducting or organizing an event. A hybrid event can be referred to as an event which
includes both the elements i.e., in person touch and the use of digital media. Therefore, it has
been determined that the organizations make effective use (Torralba Flores, and Semenchenko,
2022) hybrid events in which half of the audience attends the event physically and the rest can
attend using digital platforms. Also, it has been observed that before launching and organizing a
public event, the project executors need to make sure that they take proper precautions which
help them in safeguarding the interest of the audience within the event.

will be based upon. In order to make an event successful, it is essential for the event and project
coordinators to decide and plan a specific concept and design of the event which is aligned with
aims, objectives, needs of the market and other important stakeholders. The present event will be
a cultural event which will be based on the culture of the Chinese people within the London
(Pellerin, and Perrier, 2019). The concept and design of the proposed event will be Chinese
decoration, Chinese Canapes, and Drinks. Since, the major objective of the event is to generate

revenue by organizing a public event, the project coordinators will make use Chinese cultural in
order to attract the audience towards the event. The audience of the event will be around 100
people and the event will be organized on the national level. The event will try to provide the
audience with an exclusive experience of the Chinese culture within their country. For the same,
the event will include performances on martial arts, circuses and acrobats, fire show, magician
show, Beijing opera, karaoke, Chinese traditional dance lesson, Chinese fortune cookies, cooking
classes and Billiards, pool and snooker. All of this performance will the help the event organizers
in catering to the needs of the audience and engaging them with the event. This in turn, will
allow the event organizers in increasing their profitability.
Rationale
The major reason behind organizing an event within the London on the culture of
Chinese people is to generate huge amounts of revenue within the country. The general public of
United Kingdom have no knowledge and understanding of their own with respect to any culture

will help the visitors in learning about the Chinese culture while they are within their own
country. It will allow them to get a truly exclusive and wonderful insight of lives, cultures,
values, traditions, beliefs, food, taste, preferences of the Chinese people. With the help of this
experience, the visitors will be able to make their own assumptions, and observations with
respect to the traditions and culture of the people of China.
Significance of the research
The present report will be helpful to the project management team in organizing the event
within the country. This will help the event organizers in determining the importance of the event
within the eyes of the audience, and will help them in determining their essentials in order to
organize the project. This will help in identifying the cost of each and every department with
respect to organizing the event within the country.

Since, the event will be based on the culture of the Chinese people, the target audient of
the event will be people falling under the age group of 18 to 45 years of age. All the genders
which exists within the country will be welcomed during the event. The event will also target
majorly the local citizens of the London (Goebel, 2020). Targeting the local citizens of the
London will help the project executors in to attracting the audience towards the event and
influencing them to attend the same. Since, the local citizens of the London do not have the
knowledge about the living standards, lifestyle, culture, traditions, food, drinks, beliefs with
respect the Chinese people, it will help the event organizers in attracting the local citizens
towards the event as they will be keen and curious in learning about a new culture within their
nation.

It has been identified that, the event is feasible in nature and therefore, can be organized
within the country. It has been determined the in United Kingdom, now the legal restrictions
which present earlier with respect to social and public gathering have been removed from the
country (Nnaemeka, 2020). Therefore, the project executors have the opportunity to easily
organize the event within the country. Also, it has been determined that an estimated of around
68% of the population of the United Kingdom has been vaccinated within the country and
therefore, they are very low chances of a person getting infected from the COVID 19 within the
gathering (Sutawidjaya, and Nawangsari, 2020). The government of the United Kingdom has
also lifted the restricting on the gathering limit of people within the nation. The project has
sufficient sponsors available for the purpose of funding the event. The technical staff has also
been employed during the time span of the event. Therefore, it can be stated that the event is
feasible in terms of technical feasibility, economic feasibility, legal and operational feasibility.

The venue of the event will be Marylebone Hotel which is located in the London. The
Marylebone Hotel is a luxury hotel situated in London. Since, the event will be a national level
event, the venue that has been chosen for the purpose of organizing the event is feasible for the
public and the audience that will be attending the event. The event will create a buzz in the

the event and help the organizers in attracting the audience towards the same.

Promotion Strategy
The strategies used by an organization in order to promote their products and services
with the marketplace and attract the customers towards a brand with an objective of influencing
them into buying the products and services offered by the company is referred to as the
promotion strategy. There are mainly two types of promotion and marketing strategies used by
an organization for the purpose of promoting their product, they are traditional marketing and
modern marketing strategies (Galan, 2021). The traditional marketing strategies includes the
advertisements which are provided by the organizations by using billboards, newspapers,
magazines, radios. On the other hand, the advertisements which are provided by using social
media, digital marketing strategies, and other online platforms. However, the project executives
will be using social media marketing platforms and digital marketing strategies in order to
communicate and connect with the audience with respect to the organizing of the event within
the nation.
The project coordinators will conduct social media campaigns and use several
advertisements with respect to the event organized by them. The advertisements will be uploaded
on all the major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube. This will
attract the social media users towards the event (Piwowar-Sulej, 2020). Also, the social media
campaign will help the project executors into answering and clarifying all the queries of the
audience and allow them to attend the event.

From the above report, it can be concluded that the event will be a successful event as it
has been identified that the project will be feasible in terms of its operability, technicality,
management and finances. It meets the criteria and also abides by the rules and regulations
provided by the government with respect to the spread of COVID 19. The event will be a
national level event and will only allow a maximum of 100 people within the event. The event
will be a hybrid event and therefore there will the technical setting which will allow the
organizers into screening the event on a big screen and will be then telecast on the social media
so that a wide range of people can attend the event.
