Background
The Literature review is defined as secondary source of publish data by different author
through books, Journals, articles, blogs and newspaper. In this research, five journals are being
taken to evaluate and analyse the cyber-attack on organizations in detail. This will help to know
the details of problems and issues faced by organizations.
Cyber security is the major issue that is faced by organizations while operating around
the world. The cyber-attack on organizational which is done through illegal purpose and shows
threat on most of the companies. This cause high damage to companies as data used for some
illegal purpose or sold for dollars to earn more money. These hackers are being directly attack
website of companies, network intrusion, Ransomware, insider threat, DDoS attack etc. which
leads to cause high damage to companies. The high penalties is charged by government in order
to keep personal data of consumer safe and protected under security that leads to breach.
However, this cyber-attack is done by hackers which is working for some illegal groups to know
personal details of people and sell further. Small companies is targeted by group of attackers
mostly but sometime they also attack on big firms like Google and Amazon are also faced by
these companies. They have anonymous sources through their strong made system, sometimes it
takes time to track attacker original location. This study will show that what issues and
challenges are being faced by organizational through this attack.
Critical analysis
As per the White and et.al., (2020) journal it can be evaluated that cyber security is
affected by social enterprise which primary concern to provide values to society. Some
organizations faced this attack due to their weak support system. The research and development
of methods to detect the reason of cybercrime on organization attacking by hackers again and
again. The technology solutions are also developing by companies to make solution for
preventing digital crimes. Social enterprise is becoming an important factor for modern society.
This organizational are becoming hybrid as they are working for society and operating as
commercial organization too. The study of Ghanaian stated that knowledge of Information
technology is good but solving of cyber-attack are quite poor. The single cyber-attack
organization cost almost $2 lakh dollars and the global cyber-attack cost multiple of same. The
organizational are being not disclose such activities they face as they can be penalized by
government. There is a different type of attack which are faced by organizations which unable to

find solutions. The acquisition of sensitive data through cyber-attack has increased day by day
and effect badly to government institutional as well as small business organizational.
The Moşteanu (2020) stated that, organizational are facing massive challenges and
problems which are arisen due to cyber-attack. The most cyber-attack used by attackers is
Ransomware attack where hacking into user's data and preventing user to access until ransom
amount is being paid. This attack has been done through major of business where they are unable
to run data during the operations. The cyber attack is done in such a way that users unable to
recognize the attack and transaction that had made by attackers. The government and private
institutional are being working in technology to prevent the attack through developing software.
Major industry is hit on shipping industries which is targeted by attackers and take most of the
data from these industries only where personal and commercial data gathered through same
place. To protect the data from the hacking, government is working on protecting and security on
cyber sea. However, there are many flaws in internal system of organizational where breach of
data is made by company ignorance. This can be reason as software and privacy security are very
costly to maintain and increase the efficiency of working. Lack of security maintain by company
can also lead to breach of data.
The Appiah, Amankwah-Amoah and Liu (2020) statement on cyber security is that,
unpredictable attacks on ordinations that are unable to know about the attack. A single computer
has large information of data that is store by company in it. The valuable information that resides
on multiple data sources increase exponentially from early stages. The opportunities of
organization of all size of data that can be compromise through storing data into various devices
which is on same data. Internet of things (IoT), the protection of device through various virus
that is used by attackers to collect the personal and business data. The major of attacks is on
business due to high involvement in system by employees and increase the chances of cyber-
attack. The cyber-attack is so quick that business even don't understand the problem they had
faced. It takes time to know the impact of cyber-attack on the organization and its affects which
can be impact business in near future. The unpredictable attack leads to high damage to
information of companies which is used by hackers for some illegal activities. Certain models
are used by organizational that mobilize and utilize expertise and resources to combat the effects
of cyber-attack on organizational. There are various ways which can be used company to avoid
the cyber-attack of company. Firstly, they have to proactive environment scanning and analysis

of potential threats that can damage the business information and data. Secondly neutralize
threats and attacks and last stage shows redesign and updating the technology to protect the data
of company from such attacks.
Lallie and et.al., (2021) argued that, data theft is being mostly done during the Covid-19
impact on the organizations. Small and medium size organization are not targeted by cybercrime,
but they are the principle of attack. Most attacks done to certain organizations only where they
have less protection towards data and easy to break the security of data storage. The customer
data majorly stolen through attacking and sold to their competitor which is used by them and
showed up with unethical working in industry. For small business owner handle this attack in
their own way which result in high impact of attack to their business. The major protection that
are necessary for anyone is these type of business which need to improve the safety and security
of information data which is done through using software and adopting new technology. During
pandemic there are many cyber-attacks found all over the world as all organizations not prepared
for work from home by their employees.
Vozikis and et.al., (2020) illustrated that, there is lack of technical skills' gap to solve the
problems and issues which are faced by organizations. The hackers which used high technology
equipment’s that attack on business in a manner that unable to track by government and big
companies. The cloud risk is one of the major threat to all organizations where data is stored on
cloud provided by cloud service provider. It used due to flexibility and cost involved by business
to store the data which are encrypted only by the person which have authorization. There are
various factors which used through cloud service to protect the data from cyber-attack which
include firewalls, multi factor authentication and virtual private network of company which is
used during the access of data. It makes most protecting layers to secure data but still there are
certain flaws used by attackers and find bugs in their configurations to hack them. However, the
consumers misguided through various ways by the cyber attacker which done through mail,
telephonic, SMS and many other channels that directly target the business and collect all data
from storage.
The above study conclude that cyber securities still one of the major threats that
organization are dealing. The technologies which used by government and private company still
have some bugs that is find by hackers and steal the data store on cloud or any other storage.
Major of the attacks targets to small and medium size organizations faced high challenges as

they get advantages for cyber attacker to easy collection of data and use for their purpose or can
be sold it. However, governments and global institutional working on the same to provide safety
of personal and commercial data to each one by using many layer of secure to reach stored data.
