as the colleges. The concept of the Bullying emerged since 1950, but due to the enhancement in
the technology, bullying has been accelerated. As such there is no particular definition of
Bullying however; it refers to the intentional, harmful behavior which is carried out immediately.
Generally bullying is of four types namely physical, verbal, cyber and relational. In this essay a
detailed analysis of bullying will be carried out in detail to understand its major sector such as
Cyber Bullying.
There is a huge difference between the traditional bullying and the cyber bulling in terms of the
ways of the bullying by the preparatory. As it can be observed cyber bullying has taken place in
the entire digital environment. There are several issues which have been created by the ethical
and the legal issues. Cyber bullying is generally making sure to influence young people and
youngsters. School heads by and large concede some obligation in ensuring unfortunate
casualties. Notwithstanding, most digital tormenting happens outside school hours. It happens

Consequences of Cyber Bullying

are the major ones who can get affected by it. The children can be bullied on the basis of the

Moreover the major concern is with the cyber bullying which tends to take the serious toll on the
victims. The consequences that are involves are the decrease in the academic performance,
severe tension including the siblings and the parents, engaged in the unethical practices. The
common consequences that can be vouched for while analyzing whether the person is suffering
from the cyber bulling or not are he/she suddenly loses the interest in the internet. He/she is not

bullying have to face the life challenges such as anxiety, depression, and self-harm, suicidal
ideations. There are several suicidal cases that have been reported under the cybercrime
department in case of the excessive bullying and not being able to cope up with the same. A
comparative study was conducted in the year 2018, where it was showcased that the people who
were bullied constantly are facing the suicides and the deaths on the spot rather than the non-
bullied peers3.
A case of the aggressive bullying let a girl being commit a suicide, by shooting herself in the
chest belonging to the school of the Texas. Cyber bullying is the reason for the major suicides
these days as the students are not able to cope up with the cyber bullying easily.
Response and Prevention
The responsible authority worth regards to the cyber bullying was one of the greatest challenges
faced by the society. Initially there was a huge debate on who is the responsible body to address
the cyber bullying. It was quite a toll on who is responsible for the disciplinary actions and the
interventions, parents, school and the law officials. By the time many cities have recreated the
definition of the critical harassment for the purpose of the inclusion of the cyber bullying. In
order to face such obstacles, the educators have developed the advanced level protocols. The
major responsibility was off the school to make aware about the policies and interventions.

presented for cyber stalking and cyber bullying have been criticized due to the limited
applicability. Apart from this all the laws of the US states have the registered laws, due to which
there is an introduction of the criminal sanction on the harassment and cyber bullying. Besides
this the school also provides the formulated guidelines for identifying and intervening of thee
cases of the cyber bullying4. These laws and the initiatives will help the overall society in
achieving the progressive growth towards the decrease in the case of the cyber bullying. The
only drawback of the federal laws is that as per the laws crossed over the thirty states, it does not
legally authorize to extend to off campus settings, especially in case of the students.
