Executive Summary
This is a report about the Advanced Medicos Limited (AML) which is a digital health company
that mainly deals with the selling of the health care products through the use of the hardware
system, however due to expansion they intend to be selling their products through the website
where the customers will be enabled to buy them without buying the system, this will be enabled
by expansion of their network system which is currently existing in the company headquarter
which has two main buildings A and B to a new modern network.
This report will therefore cover various aspects which includes the analysis of user requirements,
making of network assumptions, identification of the business goal and technical goal ,describing
and analyzing the Current network Setup, identifying the data transmission media, identifying
the network hardware, producing the logical network topology, drawing the Network physical
topology including network diagram and analyzing the existing network.

1 Introduction
The Advanced Medicos Limited (AML) is a digital health company that offers the health
products selling services where they have a main product as the system hardware that gives the
various health services to their clients, now the company had expanded and it is aiming at selling
the health products online using the current technology.
1.1 Purpose
The proposed network will be designed and implemented in order to achieve various purposes
which include the following:
i. Enable selling of the products over the web.
ii. To upgrade the current system to a new network system.
iii. To make use of the latest network technology that accommodates the network load.
iv. To use the latest technology to allow room for expansion.
v. To install network with wireless support.
vi. To enable the additional of new network devices through the “Bring Your Own
Device” functionality.
vii. To connect the building A and B through a network.
viii. To enable the employees to work from home using the network.
ix. To update the production process.
x. To increase the resources that supports new online services.
xi. Improve on the network security.
xii. To increase more network devices.
