Introduction
In the modern world of business, it has become important for the firms
to set up communication structure so that data can be effectively
communicated (Hutchins, Cloppert and Amin, 2011). If the
company's data is scattered it becomes difficult for them to manage
it. Connecting computers in network can help in this regards as all
the data will be centrally placed and accessing them becomes easier.
It fastens the whole working process.

There are various kinds of
network design that is available
and its implementation depends
on the requirement of the
company (Barroso, Clidaras and
Hölzle, 2013). There are certain
requirement of this Pine-martin
Fuel Ltd.

design is as follows:
Network topology: It will be
better for the company if it uses
hybrid topology for connecting its
computers on network (Fodor and
et. al., 2012).

Router: It is a device that
forwards data packets on different
paths in a network (You and Xie,
2011). Routing table or policy is
being followed so as to forward
data to the next router in the
journey.

Protocols: There must be network protocol using which data has to
be send. These protocols defines the authenticity of data as well
as it helps to ensure that the data is delivered to the desired target
(Knowles and et. al., 2011). It also safeguards data packets from
getting lost and leaked.
 PC or devices: It is the work station on which users operate. It is
also known as port in the network. It acts as a sending and
receiving units. There are certain other devices like Printers,
scanners, telephone etc.

which must be based on the
pre-defined security codes.

In order to understand the network design is we take 10 pcs on
different floors then they can be connected in mesh topology where
servers acts as a central controller and data is send to different Pcs at
the same time. At each floor there will be routers that will ensure
that data packets are sent from one place to another without being
lost or disrupted. Firewall must be present in the network so that no
breach in system or network can be possible. On the other hand
switch can be utilise to redirect data on right path.

Wi-Fi Requirements
In this network there is requirement of using Wi-Fi connectivity. It is
helpful in connecting devices that are stable as well as mobile. But it
has a limitation of the area up to which data will be transferred (Xi,
Kao and Chao, 2013). Hence it is appropriate for this company as
the connection here is LAN.

Requirements of Implementation
There are several other requirements that is associated with the
design and implementation of the network. Which is as
follows:
Training of staffs: For implementing the whole network and
then working upon it, is only possible if there is proper
training of the staff members (Seo and et. al., 2012). It can be
done by the IT administrator.

Conclusion
From this it can be concluded that since data management is important
inside the company, it essential to set up the network architecture
inside Pine-Martin Fuel Ltd. This company can connect all its
devices in the Hybrid Topology where there is centralised server
and many number of ports can be connected to it as per the
requirement. Wi-Fi is needed for the connectivity of mobile devices.
