Modern Database Systems
The database technology is one of the most important technologies that has been
developed and is used in almost every purpose of data storage. In the recent times there have
been a number of changes and updates that is made in the database technology (Pappas et al.,
2014). These new technologies help in the process of easy management of the databases over
the cloud or in local systems. One of the major progresses that can help the process of the
database management is the In-memory Database Systems.
The In-memory Databases have reduced the financial inputs of analysing huge
amount of the data in an accelerated rate. In this case the need of the In-memory database can
help a coach in accessing the number of players attending training (Fisch et al., 2015). This
process automatically collects the data form the present players and stores the record of the
players’ attendance. Hence, this can help Bruce in identifying the data about players present
in a specific data set without any chances of errors.
Also these are cloud enabled systems that can store the information in real time.
Hence, there is a reduced need of any manual adjustments, thus ensuring data security. One
of the other major technologies that could help Bruce with the process of web-based database
management is the automated use of servers. This process can help Bruce in controlling data
of the athletes in a better way by using the both the databases in a manual way as well as in
an autonomous way (Mariotti et al., 2017). With the help of this technology, an automated
text is sent to the athlete and the athlete is asked for immediate responses in either YES or
NO. Depending on the response of the player, the information of his or her availability is
stored in the servers. This can help Bruce to know whether the player will be available or not
and make plans accordingly.
