Explain the four types of micro organisms
Answer - Four types of micro organisms are Bacteria, Archaea, Protozoa, Fungi.
Bacteria-
Also known by true bacteria. They are responsible for many illness like skin infection,
food poisoning etc.
Archaea-
They can found as bacteria in water, soil, in digestive system for our good health.
Protozoa-
Many diseases like malaria, sleeping sickness, toxoplasmosis are caused due to
them.
Fungi-
Yeast is the type of fungus which is responsibly for producing alcoholic beverages
like liquor.
In detail, please explain what cross infection is and your role in the prevention of infection
Answer - Cross infection refers to the movement of harmful bacteria from one person,
object, or any body part to the another. This infection is called as nosocomial infection when
it occurs in a hospital.
Types
source of the cross infection decides the symptoms. It also depends on the part of the body.
Commonly cross infections are like Urinary Tract Infections, Pneumonia, Surgical site
infections, blood stream infections and many more.
Cause
Bacteria, Fungi, Parasites, Viruses etc. They can be transmitted by using of
unsterilised medical equipments, coughing and sneezing, touching contaminated objects,
dirty bedding or human contacts etc.
Prevention
Well ventilated hospital should be there Which can reduce the chances of
nosocomial infections.
General cleanliness of the hospital should be maintained because it's the place
where due to different patients with different diseases came for.
Everyone need to safely dispose their excretes urine stool and sputum.
Traditional aqueous method should be use for decontamination purpose.
Alcohol can also be used for decontaminating purpose.
Caring of the nails and hair should be proper to avoid the infection.

Answer - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which can be refers to any equipment worn
which gives the protection from many hazards which can be occupational.
List the types of PPE and why is it necessary
Mask They lowers the chances of taking the direct infection from the air.
Gloves They prevent you from directly contact from any contaminated
surface or infectious objects
Protective eye
wear
They are useful to reducing the risk from exposure of chemical
solaces.
Face mask/shield It gives the full face protection from the chemical splashes, or flying
debris.
Apron It is used as protective equipment from the cross infections and also
to our cloths.
Heavy duty gloves It protects from the chemicals and Greece materials.

Washing on daily basis and nourishing them
