Description of the meaning of communication speech and language Communication, speech and language are needed so that people can express their needs, transfer the meaning of their expression to other people, can be understood by the people and attain their goals, lean understanding other people and developing positive relationships. Speech can be termed as the actions that lead to producing speech by expressing or the ability to express the feelings, concepts, meaning, thoughts, idea which are articulated by sounds. Effective speech involves a clear voice that makes the speech interesting and the expression clear and meaningful. A good way to speak is without hesitation and repeating the sounds or words. Language can be described as the way in which humans communicate with one another either by writing or speech for receiving and delivering messages in a conventional and structured manner. Effective use of language involves using the right words to explain the meaning and join the words into sentences, conversations by making a sense of what people say. The use of language can be enriched by use of good vocabulary, error free grammar and relevancy of the sentences. Communication can be described as the broadest category of both speech and language and includes spoken language, verbal cues, non-verbal cues that are necessary to interact, express views and feelings and for imparting and exchanging information through speaking, writing and other mediums. Effective communication involves use of gestures or language in various ways and also considering other’s point of view, effective listening, effectively express ourselves and understands how other feel, and using the most appropriate method of communication (Hurley and Moore, S., 2020).
