Descriptive Statistics for Anxiety Scores
1. Using visual binning option in SPSS, the anxiety scores of the 30 students has been
clustered in 6 classes. Initial cut point was considered at 50, and total 6 cut points
have been used for framing the categorical variable “classes” for the anxiety scores.
Width of every class was selected to be 10. The frequency distribution of anxiety
scores has been presented in Table 1 with 6 classes and corresponding frequency,
relative percentage, and cumulative percentage (Meyers, Gamst, & Guarino, 2013).

Figure 1 represents the frequency histogram with the categorical variable generated in SPSS.
The “classes” variable was created with 6 levels for the anxiety scores of 30 students.
