a) Project Plan to provide a problem to solution
A project plan is being created to meet the installation and management of designing a
Solar Power supply System. As various problems are being associated with the development of
this solar power plant so in order to solve such problems this project have provided various
solution to it. The resolution of the problems can leads to the sustainable installation of Solar
Power Supply System
Main Problems associated with the Power Supply System
The Main purpose of this project is to develop Solar Power plant that utilise the
solar energy and also spread the awareness in avoiding the impact of industrial activity on
environment. The main objective of carrying out this project is to resolve various environmental
problems. Also, many more problems are being associated due to Functioning of the Solar Power
Supply Plant. Various Probable Problems of the project, in response to which the project plan
has provided effective solutions can be discussed below:
 Stability and Power Quality in Electrical Power supply system of Solar Plant.
 Fault Detection.
 Concentrator of Photovoltaic Solar Power.
 Detailed Hardware, Firmware and Software analytical solutions which are required to
resolve.
 Automatic Voltage Regulation.
 Damaging Effect of Industrial Activities on Environment.
 Long Time Sustainability of the Solar Power Supply System.
 Battery backups at the time when sunlight is not available
These issues need to be resolved by Installing different types of parts within Main module of
Solar Power Supply System. Its industrial Activities are causing a lot of damage to the
environment. Solutions to such Problems are as follows:
 Solar Saving: This is a one of the major solution to a great problem as it Traps more heat
than Light. Solar mainly uses low power consumption items such as LED, CFL lamps,
low powered electronics etc. Solar power plant system basically do not uses the as much
power as other standard electronic systems consumes (Bayrak And et.al., 2016). Also,
LED's are generally powered from 12 VDC at starting and then requires AC adopter to

power them with standard electricity. So This system will be able to operate more
efficiently by storing more light and less heat. Thus installing a Solar Power Supply
system Could be beneficial as it saves the electricity for a studio Flat. This Solution will
be helpful in generating an effective Power and also saves the Solar energy for future use
even if the sunlight is not available.
 Eco-friendly: This solution is mainly aimed at eco-friendly Solar Power plant It can also
be considered as one of the most strong objective to which this project is mainly aimed
at. The idea of developing a Solar Power Supply System in Studio flat will be able to
promote the ecological sustainable growth. This will also be able to address Energy
security challenge of the country. This also enables environment to penetrate the solar
technology in order to improve the environmental condition of the country. This
ultimately provides sustainable Development of the Solar Plant.
 Easy Installation: In response to different kinds of problems that lowers the performance
of Solar Power Plant easy installation of various components leads to efficient
development. However, Solar panels are very efficient and easy to install and requires
only few bolts and basic wiring to hold them. Designing and installing a Solar Power
Supply System for Studio Flat also provides the solar Lightening system at the top of the
pole. This commonly consumes a low voltage DC power which is much safer than
standard electric. It also involves simple installation techniques.
 Battery Backups: This project provide a efficient solution to implement the strategy that
allows conserving the source of power. This Solar system also uses a battery backups that
allows a battery backup in order to keep the system running for more than 3 days. So this
Solar Power supply system for studio Flat is mainly aimed at continues power supply as
in case of lack of sunlight.
 Easy availability: Solar Power Supply can be easily installed at any open space and it can
be powered remotely. This is also one of the main objective of installing and designing a
Solar Power Supply System as it can be available at anywhere which can be operated and
maintained in the existing PV system (Choi, and et.al., 2016). This allows the people with
a broader vision of converting all urban rooftops with a solar energy power pant.
 Green: This plant is also objected at occupying the residential as well as commercial
spaces for its designing and installation. So the main purpose of developing a project

leads to the ultimate solution which can be resulted in carrying out the activities that
protects the environment.
Main deliverables
As the solar energy is considered as one of the most effective primary source of
renewable resource energy which can be radiated by sun including light, radio waves, radio
waves and x rays. It helps in delivering various things that supports the energy efficient resources
and also helps in not emitting the harmful gases like CO2. After finding ultimate solutions to
such problems various outcomes are been derived after the implementation of such above
mentioned solutions to problems.
 It generates Electricity with the help of Photovoltaic Solar cells. Thus, it helped in
resolving the problem of power consumption along with the quality of electricity.
 It also helps in delivering electricity using concentrated Solar Power plant.
 It may also delivers the electricity but that can be generated by heating the trapped air
which rotates turbines in a solar up-drafted tower.
 It also helps in delivering the Hydrogen gas using photo electrochemical cells (Solar
Power Supply System, 2017).
Additionally, there is need of engaging in establishing strategies in order to select this
advanced technology to fulfil the requirements without affecting the environment adversely.
Hence, this designing of solar power supply system is an innovative and sustainable approaches
to meet the demands in the manufacturing sector. This proves beneficial for managing the quality
and safety provisions as well. In this regard, Studio flat offers a comprehensive scope in their
services to satisfy the proposal. For example, Solicitation design concept helps in submitting the
preliminary design concepts for review and design selection (González and et.al., 2016).
Overview of assessment with respect to Studio Flat
Solar power supply system for Studio Flat includes a micro-grid assessment. Such micro-
level analysis aid in supporting the baseline and its related existing distribution network and
load-side requirements. This contains examining of the existing electrical systems, which further
help in building power system through Hybrid optimisation model. This would bring
improvements when installing the solar supply in all the production departments to bring optimal
micro-grid energy balance. Moreover, it will allow the flow of operational activities smoothly on
the basis of conceptual design for installing this supply system and bring the sustainability factor.

With respect to this assessment, Renewable studies must be done to understand the
ergonomics and sustainability factor when doing it on such a larger scale. While designing a
solar supply system for a megawatt-scale renewable generating plant, there are variables such as
compatibility, inter-connectivity, technicalities, usage of space, available resources, time
restrictions and capacity to withhold the entire functionalities. Here, the major determinant is
maintaining a balance in the availability of supply of solar energy along with performance
metrics to reduce levelized electricity costs for better and effective utility scale- support.
Furthermore, this assessment helps in conducting energy audits, site investigation, energy
Conservation Measures (ECM) scope development, energy saving calculations and cost
estimation based on drawings and designs produced by the project developer (Lund, Mikkola,
and Ypyä, 2015). This plan will be useful to calculate the estimations and complete power
consumption that would facilitate during the installation of this project. Moreover, this would
also lay emphasis on the scope development, field data acquisition, energy and cost baseline
establishment. This contributes in mitigating the risks and provide a benchmark to avoid any
errors/miscalculations or mis-happenings.
Along with, the focus on Financial performance would also be considered because the
investments must be in controlled limits without burdening this firm. Earlier, the problem areas
such as additional costings related to installing was not in lines with other equipments. This led
to commercial viability factor that affected the compliance when installing the Solar power
supply system. Moreover, there is an attached probabilistic risk analysis by using Power surety
techniques for developing this system feasibly. There is an operational barrier when conducting
the risk analysis as it is directly related to the performance and assessing the risks. This assists
the developers, owners and financiers in assessing the risk factor related to projects including
both legal and regulatory risks.
Therefore, these deliverables help in understanding the general arrangements such as site
plans, single-line electrical diagram, configuration drawing, equipment schedules etc. Along
with, sufficient details must be outlined for quality component and management of the entire
implementation process (Nicholas and Steyn, 2017). Lastly, the Acquisition plan of this Project
can be termed as the process that provides the overall strategies and underlying the tactics for
managing the acquisition for managing the labour and material requirement of the project.
Resources requirements to complete this project

Various resources included in this project are as follows:
Power inverter: This is a solar energy equipment needed for power consumption of battery.
Solar Panels: This is the most noticeable component of the solar electric system. These panels
are generally installed at the outside areas of Studio flat (Parag and Sovacool, 2016). This
provides output ratings in watts. Output per panel is 10 and 300 watts where 100 watt be a
common configuration.
Solar Array Mounting Racks: Solar panels are joined into arrays and can be mounted in the
following ways like roofs on poles or directly on the ground or free standing arrays.
Array DC Disconnect: This is used to disconnect the solar arrays in order to provide proper
maintenance. This also produces the direct current power.
Inverter: Solar panels and batteries generally produces electricity during and after the sunshine
because such inverter converts the sunlight into electrical energy and batteries to AC power
which is required by appliances.
Battery Pack: Solar Power system for Studio flat generates the electricity at the time when the
sunlight is available but it also provides the electricity even at the time when the sun is not
available. To offset the mismatch, generally extra batteries are added to the system.
Power Meter, utility meter, Kilowatt meter: In order to maintain a utility grid, the amount of
power can be measured which is used from the grid. This also measures the utility of the power
meter in solar power supply system for Studio flat.
Charge controller: This is generally used to regulate the charge that generally maintains the
proper charging voltage for the batteries installed in Solar Power plant.

c) Feasibility study
As studio flats are those which consist of one large room that is serving as both bedroom
and living or dining a well. So these are called to as single room which are apartment smaller as
compared to others. So for these type of smaller room it is very much cheaper to place and install
solar power systems as compared to supply main connection. It could be analysed that supply
main grid with local utility grid is that electric power supply which reach to homes and offices in
form of electrical power. While solar power will be conversion of sunlight energy into electricity
with use of photovoltaic and indirectly through solar power or combination of both. So while
installation of solar power in studio flat will be creating absolutely no waste or emission like the
fossil fuel power plants. This proves that solar power will be very much feasible as compare to
that of supply main which is provided by national grid.
Price of power like that of new wind and solar power plants is usually cheaper than
compared to coal or natural gas power plants. For studio flats this solar energy will be the best
suitable as this will be providing smaller flat will be providing less amount of cost of electricity.
It could be noted that solar power energy is more sustainable that fossil fuel energy as this will
be converting energy of sun into electrical one and then make use of most sustainable resources.

Solar cell will be producing power for studio flat that will be containing harness energy
from sun and producing power from daylight. Feasibility study of this Solar Power Supply
system helps in minimising the negative impact of the man's industrial activities on environment
(Parise and et.al., 2015). Development of the Solar Power Supply system in Studio flat helps in
generating the electricity which can be derived from the sun rays. So can be more sustainable
than Supply mains connection as it consumes less amount of energy and also provides efficient
electricity. Solar Power also helps in performance evaluation and generating the power during
and after the sunshine.
