INTRODUCTION
Mentoring is a very important factor which has to be present in leaders and managers so
that there are going to be higher outcomes which are present. ASDA is operating in the market
since 1949 and has gained a lot of experience which is going to be good for the overall
performance. There are 165,000 employees currently in the organization and the headquarters is
present in Leeds, England. The report would be discussing tools, measures, resources, etc. which
are being used by mentors to make sure that there are effective working which would be present.

Resources which are required by Mentors for being able to make sure that there is
effective working and exchange of knowledge which is present would be discussed in the report.
ASDA has to have a good leadership development programs so that there is going to be effective
functioning and understanding between the two so that there are going to be higher outcomes
that are present. Employee assessments and data has to be collected of the workforce who are
present in the organization so that there are going to be effective ideas and decisions which are
being taken (Lunsford, Baker and Pifer, 2018). Goals and objectives have to be set which are
going to make sure that there are effective consent which is present and good information which
is being shared. Practices of mentors have to change according to the clients which are present in
the company which would be highly beneficial for a long run. Policies and procedures have to be
implemented and understood well so that there is going to be higher operations which is present
in the organization. Training resources like activities which are planned out, motivation and
expected equipments which are to be used by mentors so that there is going to be effective long
term relationship which would be built up so that the organization would be able to have higher
outcomes. Roles and responsibilities of a mentor have to be followed effectively so that there are
higher outcomes in ASDA and improvement.
