diversity are as follows:
Recruitment and selection: it is the process of hiring and selecting best suitable candidate within the
organisation who is able to accomplish its objectives. At the time of recruiting employees, organisation
emphasize on gender diversity and hiring both men and women in equal number in the organisation.
They also emphasize on hiring employees with right education, experience and skill sets.
Production: this is the key operation of company which is associated development of product and
services. By emphasizing on diverse talents, organisation is able to blend array of skills as well as
creativity in goal oriented team. For this, company emphasize on bringing diverse talent within the
workplace who belong with different cultures, backgrounds, education levels, etc.
Service provision: at the time of providing services to customers, the service providers must be familiar
with different type of languages and cultures as this helps them in providing effective services to
customers and resolving their issues. Here, linguistic diversity in the organisation plays crucial role. If
the employees have knowledge about different languages, then they are able to deal with different
customers in an effective way.
Marketing: If an organisation have diverse workforce, then it helps in developing effective sales

There are some trends with diversity in Australian workplace. These trends include encouraging
individuals to consider information and library as career. The country aims to double the number of indigenous
employees. It also seeks to hire individuals from different religions and nations and who are born in Asia or
people with other languages. Apart from this, the nation finds the ways to significantly increase number of
information workers and male library and open up career opportunities on constant basis for the individuals
living with disability. The Australian organisations try to provide all individuals with equal opportunities and
reduce inequalities in employment. The Australian organisations employ individuals with diverse cultural
backgrounds and some of the individuals may have particular cultural needs which must be taken into
consideration. These includes social values, religious practices, dress, family obligations, customs and
nonverbal behaviour. Moreover, organisations are responsible for psychological and physical health and
wellbeing of their individuals and encourage respect full culture for all.
