Ergonomics is about managing and arranging workplace seating arrangements for the
workforce. Its key aim is to properly use workspace so as to minimize risk of any possible
harm (Woo, White and Lai, 2016). As per the safe working practices, it is necessary for the
companies to maintain all the equipment and arrangements in a proper manner for the

SCS2A Chair height, seat and back adjustment
As per the above standard, chair height must be adjustable from 42cm – 51cm at a low
height of 38-45 cm. Backrest with lumbar support should be adjustable at 15-25 cm, uppar

allow room for legs under the desk. Height of the surface and chair must be adjusted

Besides this practical exercise improved my excel skills and computational skills to perform
different calculations. Moreover, it increased financial skills as I computed various ratios
like profitability, efficiency, liquidity and solvency ratios to know financial status and profit
performance. Besides this, it improved presentation skills as I made number of graphs with
proper formatting to visualize data in an efficient manner.
