INTRODUCTION
Cultural competence is the values, practices or attitudes within individual or the organisation which motivate
them to work cross culturally.
This report will discuss information of legislation that educator must adhere.

Relevant legislation and laws which educators must know and relates to cultural competence
Education and care services national law 2010:
As per this act culture of aboriginal people should be valued by the
educators.
And education and care must be planned in such a manner that it includes
parents and various community members.
Racial discrimination act 1975:
This act focus on equality and according to this act discrimination should
not be done on the basis of colour, race, gender, immigrant status etc.
