1ARTICLE ANALYSIS The aim of this essay is to discuss the responsibilities of the business educators in guiding the millennials to develop communication skills that perfectly matches the requirements of the organizations. The millennials have some common features such as they are multitaskers and able to work in team. They are over confident and have high expectations. They enjoy structure and well-defined policies while working in the organization. However, the millennials are technology inseparable and try to solve any type of issues through the guidance of technology. Some negative aspects of these millennials are their tendency of job hopping which questions their loyalty by diminishing the desire of the employers to invest on them. Thesearethereasonswhy theeducatorsneedtounderstandthenewworkplace requirements of the millennials. As they are social learners, they can easily understand the importance of well-developed communication skills to maintain extensive diversity. Style typing andstyleflexingareimportantinthisaspectasthesehelpsthemtounderstandthe communication style of their own and of the others (Hartman and McCambridge). These will help them to develop communication relationship. The educators must help them to become more audience focused rather than be a technology focused. This will manipulate the observable and identifiable behavior of the millennials. Through active listening and audience analysis, the millennials will be able to develop their interpersonal skills. Therefore, it can be concluded that the millennials must use multiple layers of communication styles which is essential for the business in recent times.
