INTRODUCTION
Academic Skills can be described as talents and habits which provide various benefits for
purpose of academic pursuits like learning, research, report writing as well as presentation. It
consist analysis, planning, test taking as well as technical skills. Employability skills on the other
hand can be described as core skills as well as traits required for different jobs (Aliu and
Aigbavboa, 2019). It can also described as general skills which is desirable for an organisation.
This project report includes reflection as how learning of module helps a person to develop
different employability skills. There are different types of employability skills developed by a
person including time management skills, communication skills, note taking skills presentation
skills, digital skills and others.
MAIN BODY
Gibbs model of reflection
It is one of model of reflection model introduced by Graham Gibbs in the year 1988 that provide
structure for learning from experience. It provide a framework that allow to examine experience
and also allow a person to learn from their experience. It is of cyclic natures which allow a
person to learn on basis of repeated experienced. It also allow a person to plan things which went
well and which does not went well. It mainly consist six stages of learning which are mentioned
below:
Description: At time of completing my higher education, I get opportunity to complete different
assignment and work in order to improve my learning as well as employability skills. At time of
completing my education at university, I take participation in different activities. At time of
completing module, I get an assignment with different other members of class. It is a assignment
which is based on academic and employability skills. For completing this, I take initiate and
divide work in different members. As one of my team members has more knowledge about it, we
take more helps from him. In order to complete this assignment, I have divided whole work into
different small task and assign responsibility to each members as per their capability (Bhagra and
Sharma, 2018). We have completed our work but there is mistake occur related to writing style
but we found it on timely basis and work on it.
Feeling: Before joining the university, I was excited as this is the time where we get opportunity
to learn new things and also develop different types of skills. During this project I am happy as

INTRODUCTION
The aim of the report is to produce a reflective report in which it will discussion about the
learnings of the module that assists in developing a range of employability skills. Employability
skills are considered as those skills which offers value to the individual for getting an
employment in the organisation. This skill is also known as workplace skills or enterprise skills.
It include skills such as leadership skills, team work, motivation and initiative, patience and so
on. These skills helps in improving the performance, reducing the errors as well as promoting
collaboratively with the other colleagues. It provides an opportunity to the individual to stand out
of the crowd for getting a job. The report mentioned about the employability skills which is
essential for a workplace using Gibbs reflection model and using tools such as 4D time
management and CRAAP test.
The types of employability skills which assist me in developing as well as completion
Time management skills: This is essential for me ensuring that I will be able to utilise
my time in the most productive and effective manner so that I could easily complete my work
timely. Along with this, this is vital for me to make sure that I fully work towards my tasks and
goals on time. One of the most important tasks is managing and time. This plays a vital role for
my aims and objectives. An effective time management allows me to much more effective and
efficient by making sure how to spend my time (Menz, 2020). This also supports me in
eliminating procrastination and reduces stress and anxiety in completion of the tasks.
4D time management
The 4D time management is considered as a strategy for discerning if the tasks requires
time or not. The tool for time management are mentioned below:
Delete: I delete of all those things which wastes my time such as tasks that could
be automated and so on. This helps in focusing on tasks which could be completed on time.
Delegate: There were certain activities which was need to be done but it wastes
my time so instead, I assign the tasks to other team member. This helps in saving time as well as
money by delegating the tasks to those who have the knowledge.
Defer: The tasks that cannot be deleted as they are also vital, I defer them to other
date and time. This helps me to prioritise the things which are essential to do first. It allows me
