The character is considered as grouping of qualities of individuals, which
distinct every individual exclusive. There are various people such as
trainer, father, mother, members of community who assist the kids in
building good character qualities. There are 6 pillars of character. These
are accountability, justice, gentleness, honesty, self-esteem and
nationality. And, the ethics is considered as study activities of human
being. Ethics is rational consideration of ethical principles and policies.
The ethics is useful in deciding what is right and what is wrong, and what
is gray area between right and wrong. It is also helpful to give replies of
questions such as what is good conduct1.
The Character is related with ethics. As, the character deals that how the
individuals deliberate, how the individuals act in respect of the certain
issues like correct and incorrect, fairness, justice and impartiality, and
other fields related to the behavior of people. To focus on the
development of the character qualities, certain schools conduct
programs for character education. The Character education is the
advancement of understanding, awareness, capacities and talents,
which motivate the kids and grownups to enable them to make
accountable and well-responsible selections.

2. What does leading by example entail?
The leading by example refers as an action in the manner, which shows
other people how to act. It is necessary that great leaders should lead
through examples. As a leader of the corporation, there can be great
days and bad days. During the good days, everything goes well. This is
very easy to come in an office in the good temper and get involve in
pleasant talks with colleagues. However, during the bad days,
everything cannot be good. The most significant thing is to keep and
continue the similar behavior as at the time when company was on top
level. The progress of company very much depends on the leaders. The
team follows the team leader. The decisions of the leaders will make
impact on everyone including company2.
The leaders are required to set the example in each and every task for
the entire team of company. In this way, the workers will get good hints.
They will adopt them properly. Beside this, the leader will have chances
to enforce the ethics code while he is making things the manner in which
workers are required to do them. It is required to put the staff first to
develop the integrity amongst the workforce of company.
3. What Ethical dilemmas could be related to Health and Safety?
The dilemmas for the business is how to state the weak occupational
health and safety exercises in the supply chain provided the various
difficult situations in which safety and health at workplace may be
conceded. These dilemmas are not only arise for short period, regarding
the avoidance of accident during the work at workplace, however for
long period, in respect of the injury and sickness, which may have long

The duty based approach is principle of things5. A duty based approach
to thinking ethically does not suffer from the issues. The reason is that
these duty based approaches to thinking ethically are apprehended with
acts themselves. In the case where the action are right actions, at that
time an individual is required to do same. However, in the case where
the actions are wrong actions, at that time the person is not required to
do these wrong actions. As per this duty based approach to think as per
ethics, one cannot verify the actions by stating that this made great
significances, which is why this is most of time considered as non-
consequentialist6. The duty based approach to thinking ethically states
that-
Ensure correct things
Ensure correct things because these are correct things to do
Do not ensure incorrect things
Do not consider the incorrect things because these things are
wrong.
According to duty based ethics, the persons are required to do only
rights things notwithstanding the negative results. In this way, the
people who adopt and follow the duty based approach to think as per
ethics, must do the right things, even if makes more damages rather
than making the wrong things.

5. What are Integrity Practices? Explain with an example.
At the workstation, an integrity arises in various methods. However, all
the methods include good judgments, reliability, faithfulness, devotion
and morality. If there is high level of integrity at the workplace, then it
means that the employees of company are faithful, consistent and liable
for their actions. The integrity practices at workstation show that the
employees of company develop and exercise real and truthful
interaction. The integrity practices are very helpful in creating the
positive working atmosphere. These practices encourage the moral
approaches for making the good and proper decisions. The integrity
practices are not only useful at workstation, these are also useful to the
individuals. By stating that the persons are trustful and reliable person,
then they will get self-esteem and faith form the top level management
of the company7. For an example, Simon missed the time limit for
significant assignment because of the unexpected delivery work of two
members of team8. In place of blaming them, Simon took liability for this.
The integrity practices can be exercised by-
Respecting and adopting the strategies of the corporations
Leading by example
Readiness to the work at workstation
Respecting opinion of others, even in case of disagreement
Fulfilling the responsibilities for the errors and wrongdoings
