INTRODUCTION
For running the business smoothly, the role of the individuals is very important for the
enhancement of the business. There are several skills and approaches which are required to
develop in the individuals for achieving the goal of the businesses. As the individuals form a
team and an efficient time leads the organization to the great extent. This report discusses
the relevance of appropriate knowledge, skills, and behaviours in the departments. It
analyzes the personal skills of the employee. Basically, this report helps in recognizing the
role of the human resource manager in the development of the organization. It also shows
the difference between learning approaches and professional development for sustaining
the growth of the business. This report also contains the essay where the approaches of
management have been discussed which shows the employee engagement and competitive
advantage for the organization. All these measures are being discussed within the context of

A- DETERMINATION OF THE APPROPRIATE KNOWLEDGE,
BEHAVIOUR, AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE INDIVIDUALS OF
THE HR DEPARTMENT OF AMAZON
The growth of the Amazon is totally depending upon the performance of the human
resource department. The main objective of the HR department is to achieving the
organizational goal (Hollenbeck, et al. 2018). For achieving the goal of the organization the
human resource department develops the factors as knowledge, skills, and behaviour in an
individual which helps the person in performing the task in a better way. These factors are
discussed as follows:
SKILLS:
The HR department helps in developing the skills of individuals by providing adequate
training sessions and practical knowledge. The skills which are required for the growth of
the organization are managerial skills, technical skills, communication skills, interpersonal
skills and negotiation skills etc.
KNOWLEDGE:
The task which needs to perform by the individuals can be understood by the sufficient
knowledge. The knowledge about the responsibilities of an individual and about the
activities can be obtained by some theories and approaches. The theories help in developing
the knowledge about several norms, practices of the company.
Behaviour:
The behaviour consists of the act of the individual while performing the task or while
coordinating with each other (Ford, 2014). The behaviour aspects include models, theories,
analyzing approaches in the individual.
There are various roles and responsibilities of the human resource department which are as
follows:

The department is responsible for performing a procedure of recruitment through
recruiting, screening, analyzing, selecting, shortlisting the best candidate as per the
requirement of the company.
They conduct the proper training sessions for the employees after recruiting them in
Amazon the employees get a compulsorily training for enhancing their capabilities
towards the goal of the business.
The HR department needs to implement the policies and guidelines in Amazon that
creates the norms of the company which is followed by the employees at their
workplace.
The role of the HR is to develop the measures of equality among the individuals and
give them several safety and rewards through which they can contribute towards the
growth of the business.
They need to maintain the labour laws and employee's act for the betterment of
their performance and maintaining the image of the company (Sessa, 2015).
The HR solves all the obstacles which are faced by the employees for performing the
task effectively.
