INTRODUCTION It is very important for an individual to develop the eldership and management skills in order to be effective and efficient. There are various skills which can be developed at the time of academic leaning and can be used in future in order to develop a career. This helps the individual to get the opportunity in the reputed organisation. The leadership skills is important for managing the team in an effective and efficient way.(Heller,2019).This is the report which is based on self reflection of the various leadership and management capabilities during the academic learning. And this will also include e portfolio of personal development activities. MAIN BODY Existing leadership and management capabilities There are various concepts which I was able to develop during my coerce and academic learning. This has helped me a lot in developing my career towards the right path. The leadership is related to managing the different task and subordinates in an effective manner in order to achieve the goals and objectives in the right manner. This is very important in order to develop career. The theories and concepts which I have learned in my academics is useful for me to develop the skills in an effective way. There are various models such as the different styles which can be adopted in order to perform task effectively. The different leadership style which I studies was transactional, transformation, autocratic, democratic etc. these are are the different leadership styles which I have studied The different management model such as maslow theory, Hedberg theories which are very important to adopt in order to function properly within the organisation. From my learning from the theories I am able to develop few skills which I have discussed below: Leadership skills-this is the most important skill which I am able to develop because of working as a team project. Her I was able to manage my team effectively and I realised that I can be a good leader. This helped me a lot in developing skill which is helpful for future career development.(Liu and Hallinger, 2018) Technical skill- this is the another skill which I was able to develop where I have developed my capability to perform the technical task in the effective way. This has created several opportunity for me for the future development and growth. 1
Conceptual skills- This is the another skill which I am able to adopt within the academic learning. Here I was able to understand the different concepts of performing the task in an effective way. It is very important to develop this skill in order to be effective and efficient while performing the different task.(Gürlek and Çemberci, 2020) Develop e- portfolio Activity/ skillsHowwillitbe developed MeasureTime frame Communication skillThisisthemost importantskillwhich isrequiredtobe developed in order to beeffectiveand efficient leader within the organisation. It is very important to develop skills so that I can develop my future career growth in an effective way.. the cpd plan is made in order to improve over the other skills which are necessary for the individual development. This will help in identifying the various weak and strong areas and develop skills as per the requirement. 4
