Developing managers is very important aspect of every organisation to manage each and
every aspect of the company. It helps to increase productivity and profitability of the firm.
Managers are performing different operations and jobs to manage the outcomes and trying to
make results in favour of the organisation (Hunt and Weintraub, 2016). In this report it studied
that how managers are enhancing the skills and capabilities of the employees towards the
business objectives and goals(Sander and Caza, 2015). This study is based on the British airways
which is the leading company in airline industry after easy Jets in United Kingdom (Hancock,
2017). The industry is giving effective contribution to managing quality in the travelling and
tours. This report also include the study of Alton Tower is a resort which is located in England.
And was established in 1860. now it was converted into the theme park which attract the more
and more travellers and it providing an excellent experience of stay food and travel. Further this
report includes different management styles and Characteristic of leadership styles. And it also
includes personal strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats at workplace. Further in
contains the study of Managerial decision made to support achievement and agreed goals and
managerial and personal skills will support to career development.

1.1 Compare different management styles
Every organization have different management styles which help them deal with every
problems and situations. According to needs to complete the goals and objectives managers have
to adopt different management styles and approaches to meet the problems. Different
management styles are Autocratic, Persuasive, Democratic, Chaotic, Consultative and Laissez-
faire. To deal with the problem both the organization, British airways and Alton tower managers
use different management styles. In the both organization following methods are used to handle
the situations: -

Development of idea by sender: - The person who generate the idea or massage or who

Encoding: - It means that to encode that idea or views in an appropriate way that the
other party can understand that idea. While encoding subject sender should keep in mind that the
