1. INTRODUCTION
Motivation is driving factors that inspire an individuals to take necessary steps in specific
manner so that company can enjoy high growth and market share. In another words, it is
stimulating people to take necessary actions or enhance their overall performance and
productivity for benefits of organization. Motivation at workplace is essential as it helps in
reducing employees turnover, enhance productivity and profitability of company to maximum
extend. At the same time motivated employees are ready to devote extra time as well as efforts
to delivery high quality services to customers. Manager make use of different techniques as well
as method in order to handle and motivate employees so that company can earn maximum
revenue and profit margin. Literature review is use of secondary source like books, journals and
articles in order to conduct research pertaining to specific topic and gathered relevant
information. Thereby, this report has highlighted crucial points related to motivation at
workplace that is beneficial for organization. Furthermore, method that are used by manager of
company to motivate diverse range of employees so that company can attained its end goals in
limited time frame and cost.
2. LITERATURE REVIEW
From the view point of Finn, (2020), motivation is a process that initiate an individual to
take necessary actions or perform particular task in company so that it can easily achieve the end
goals. Motivation is inspiring individuals to devote more commitment, determination towards
their respective work for benefits of organization. Thereby, motivation helps in influencing
individuals to delivered better services to customers.
Another author also illustrated Harvey, (2017), that motivation is of two type such as
extrinsic and intrinsic motivation that inspired individuals to work hard for company. Intrinsic
motivation refers to internal factors or psychological needs that motivate employees to improve
their overall performance. Friendly working imprisonment, respect and recognition, socialism in
working place are some of the internal factors that motivate employees to put maximum efforts
for growth of company. Extrinsic motivation emphasized on external factors or reward such as
money, status, power inspired individual to complete the task in best possible manner. So, there
