Introduction:
The main objective of this project is the development of a new web based sports club
system. The introduction of the new system can be very much useful to understand the
diverse categories of project management concepts in terms of the software requirements of
this project. The advantages of the new system will be discussed in a detailed manner in this
report, along with that it can be said that that the significance of the payment gateways in
these web based systems will be evaluated in this project (Preibuschet al. 2015). The diverse
categories of challenges faced by the club members in terms of getting the quick notifications
regarding the social activities taking place in the sports club can be solved purposefully with
this software development project.
The outcome of this project can be very much useful to solve the scheduling issues
faced by the higher authorities of the sports club members. Thus, it can be said that this
project will be very much beneficial to address the challenges faced by the higher authorities
of the club. Thus, the exciting scheduling issue of this sport club can be address using this
new system(Kennedy and Musciano 2017). The new system will be also involve different
features which will allow the club members to find out the status of the existing dues and
other social activities of the club.
There are diverse categories of software which will be used for the development of
this new website based application like HTML 5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL database and Apache
server. Enhanced compatibility is one the prime reasons behind the selection of HTML as the
primary language in the design phase of the software. Loading speed of CSS 3 is much better
than the previous versions of CSS which is one of the other reason behind its selection in the
developmental phase. The availability of PHP is much better as compared with the other
programming languages like Java and Python which is the main reason behind the selection

of this programming language. Visual Studio Code will be used in both the design and the
developmental phase of this website based application. Apache server has the least licencing
issue which is the biggest reason behind the selection of this web server.
Background research:
The objectives of this project which is to address the existing problems faced by this
sports club. The new website based system can be very much useful to maintain and control
the flow of operations in the sports club. The objectives of this research can be aligned with
diverse categories of previous works like incorporation of a web based system in a hospital
sector.
Introduction of tools and techniques like SMART framework, internet based search
engines and diverse categories of tools like feedback forms was very much helpful to identify
the objectives of this research. Checklists and questionnaires is also very much useful to
identify the exact solution for this sports based club.
Requirements analysis:
The expectation of the users of the new web based system has to be understood by the
designing as well as the development personnel in order to make the new system in an
organized manner. The exact needs and expectations of the higher authorities of this sports
based club has to be analysed in this first place using the requirement analysis. Economic and
the technical analysis of this new sports based system can be very much useful in this project
as it can remove the inconsistencies associated with this project. The system elements of this
new system can also be verified using this requirement analysis. It can also be said that the
constraints associated with this project in terms of the changes in scope is the other
significant contribution of the requirement analysis. Creation of the system definitions can
also be one of the most significant contribution of requirement analysis.

Functional Requirement: The functional requirements defines the behaviour of the
system. The requirements are as following.
i. Login: The system must implement authentication methods so that unwanted
users can be prevented from using the system. The login process collects email
and password from user and checks if those to data available in the database.
If combination is right, then user is allowed to access the system.
ii. Registration: In order to store the combination of email and password along
with additional personal user data, the registration process is essential. The
user can register using one email id only once.
iii. Events: The user can see the events that organization offers. Each event will
have a name, fee and duration. All these events have to be stored in the
database.
iv. Trainers: The system will render the details of the trainers and showcase those
data into a specific section of the system.
v. Like Event: The system will allow the user to like any event they want.
vi. Participate: The user can also participate in any of the events if sufficient
amount of credit is available.
Non-Functional Requirements: The non-functional requirements on the other hand,
determines how well the system can provide quality service.
i. Security: The system must be able to prevent SQL injection attacks. The
server code will filter the user input then only use the values in the SQL
queries.
ii. Scalability: The system must be scalable. It should be able to perform based
on user requests per second and amount of data stored in database.

iii. Usability: The usability of the system must be extremely high. The website
should provide good quality of user experience to the customers.
Aim and objectives of the project:
The prime aims and objectives of this report are listed below:
vii. To present the software requirements of this project.
viii. To summarise the advantages of the new system.
ix. To understand the future of the new systems and the deployment of global
payment gateways.
Advantages of the new system:
The incorporation of the new website based system will be very much significant for
both the internal and the external stakeholder of the sports club. Each of the social activities
of the sports club can be arranged in an organized manner using the new application
(Prokofyeva and Boltunova 2017). The enactment of the web based system will be very much
significant for the financial of the club. The upcoming events of the sports can also be tracked
in an organized manner using the new website based application. Details of each of the
members can also be managed from the backend using the new website based system. Sales
and marketing of all the activities of the new sports club can also be managed in an organized
manner using the new system, it can also be said that security of the new system will be very
much beneficial to enhance the net profitability of sports club (Tatourianet al. 2017). The
addition of a universal payment gateways can also have a lasting impact on the long term
plans of this organization.
