1.0 Introduction
This particular report reflects the functionality of an online job portal that I have
developed. It has been found that with the changing time period the competition level in job
market is increasing daily. In order to somewhere minimize this issues this online portal is being
developed. This web application is entirely dedicated towards online information regarding the
job seekers as well as job recruiters. It will help both the job seekers and the job recruiters to
select their desired destination. Based on the qualification, skills, knowledge and experience a
list of companies will be shown to the job seekers on the other hand, recruiters will be ble to let
the job seekers know about their vacant job post.
2.0 Discussion points
2.1 project description
The project is developed within an accurate arena which offers both the job seekers and
the job recruiters as per their requirements. The web application is very much user friendly the
users hose are also not have professional knowledge about technology can also easily this portal.
In the website home page there are options for registration and login. The users who are not
registered to the website will not be able to search for their desired criteria. In order to get
secured access of the portal the users have to register themselves to the website with authorized
id and password. I can say that the portal is much secured and whatever details both the job
seekers and the job recruiters will be given cannot be accessed easily. The project is again
developed using high level technologies. Three different are developed n this web application an
admin, job seeker and job recruiter. The admin is that authorized person who controls the overall

network of the portal. On the other hand the recruiters and the job seekers are respectively
responsible to create vacancies and apply for jobs. I think that all the functional and non
functional requirements are merged appropriately in this web application thus; the users will be
able to get the following functionalities:
 24 hours access
 In order to get better performance level quality components are required to be
designed
 Flexible service are to be served for future extension
The software requirements those have been used are PHP MySQL, JavaScript, CSS,
HTML.
2.2 project outcome
It is expected that with the successful development of the online web application the job
seekers, recruiter all will be able to get their desired expectation.
2.3 Technical overview
In order to implement the web application PHP MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML are
used. The pages are designed using CSS and HTM, coding on JavaScript and the database used
in this website is PHP MySQL. Google has given me a key I have used that key to activate the
Google map my web application. There are three different control panels are also available.
2.4 Personal contribution
It was quite difficult to select the actual design choice for developing the job portal web
