INTRODUCTIONDietary fat plays a major role in entire human life therefore, it is important for the peopleto consider appropriate nutritional diet according to their age group in order to have propermetabolism activities of body. Extra intake of nutritional diet or mal-nutrition; both aredangerous for lives which can lead to serious health problems specially for women under the agegroup of 20 to 40 years and in child between 1.5 to 3 years. The report will outline the fatguidelines followed in UK in comparison to US. Further, it will critically evaluate fat intake andits consequences for two specified groups that is women and children.MAIN BODYIn dietary fat, saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturate fats play a major role as ithelps individuals in reducing the level of cholesterol in blood. Over consumption of these fats inhuman body leads to various heath diseases.
