1. Need of the project
The main focus of the paper is on hosing a club soccer tournament in South Africa for
providing fun opportunity for the local soccer teams. The project mainly aims to involve the
entire soccer team for promoting sports for different types of health benefits. In addition to
this, this kind of sporting event helps in making the entire team physically fit. The entire
soccer team tournament will be organized within budget $40,000 in 50 days of time by
properly finding a good location, establishing tournament, attracting teams as well as hosting
the tournament effectively.
2. Project objectives
The project objectives are mainly listed below:
 To organize a club soccer tournament in South Africa for providing fun opportunity
for the local soccer teams
 To promote a club soccer tournament for health benefits

In-scope
 Development of proper project and resource plan
 Finding a good location
 Asking about the needs for using the field
 Establishment of the tournament
 Advertising tournament
 Assigning duties to the volunteers

 The facility of workshop as well as training is not given to the members of project
team
 Amendments within the scope can generally impact the project feasibility

 An assumption is made by the project manager as per which the club soccer
tournament will get executed within the time-period of 50 days.
 As per the financial manager, the hosting of the club soccer tournament will get
completed within $40,000.
 Posting signs and ads will be done effectively in order to advertise the tournament
effectively.
4.2 Constraints
Time: The project will face delay if the timeline which is prepared in the of the
project kick off phase of the project does not get tracked effectively and therefore the
completion date for the project can generally get extended.
Resource: Lack of knowledge and experience among the volunteers will create few
challenges due to which they will face a lot of challenges in managing the hosting of the
tournament.
Improper advertisement: If advertisement prior to the hosing of the tournament is
not done then only few people can be able to know about it.
