Six Sigma Six sigma approach of operation management is the method of making corrections in existing operational process to raise efficiency level. It mainly concentrates on reducing variation and promote standardization in work. Sig sigma approach pays focus on customer demand and find suitable solution that may help company in meeting that demand. It works in systematic manner as manager of company first define the issue and analyses extent to which issue is affecting performance of Primark. Once issue is defined then statistical solution of that problem is find out so that reliable results can be generated.
Lean manufacturing This method is used as operation management approach that has close focus over waste minimization. This approach ensures that company improves its manufacturing process by minimizing wastage and also work on raising its productivity. Defects can take place due to over production, poor utilization of talent, poor inventory management etc. Continuous improvement is the technique that may aid in waste minimization and improving production flow in Primark.
Total quality management (TQM) TQM is considered approach that gives long term success to organization. This method pays attention on customer satisfaction by improving manufacturing process and culture of company. It states that customer focused is the main element that may help in knowing needs of buyers and serving customer best so that their satisfaction level can be raised.
