2ISSUES CAUSED DUE TO INTERNET IN INEQUITY Introduction Digital access as well as digital equity presents some challenge to the educators. Meeting all challenges is very important as because many stakeholders defines digital equity as the more access to the devices as well as having strong connection for internet (Farleyand Willems 2017). There are different kinds of information between the people who can access the internet and who cannot access the network that are termed as social issue. Issues Caused Due to Internet in Inequity Customer based brand equity has been one of the major issues that occurs due to the implementation of the internet in regular day to day life. Internet has been playing an important role in the branding of the products and services. Due to this aspect organizations that are capable enough to invest on the digital platform gains an edge over the other competitors who cannot afford implement digitization. This is the initial stage of the prosecution digital divide. All these are possible for people who are in a position of spending money on mobiles and internet. Managing customer brand equity is not performed by the business organizations and hence a social equity issue arises. Digital Divide has been affecting the people residing in rural areas as their residents are not much aware of the usage of internet and hence, they stay deprived(Richmond, Rader and Lanier 2017). For the people who cannot spend much money on this kind of luxury the entire scenario changes for them. They stay unaware of the social scenario and they stay backward. The low-income people do not enjoy the same advantages despite the fact that they might be having the access to the internet. It is observed that the gender differentiation is not an issue in internet but occupational differentiation is present and this reduces the social equity gets effected in a negative manner.
3ISSUES CAUSED DUE TO INTERNET IN INEQUITY It is noted that most of the people has been using internet for staying connected to their friends, which acts as a luxury against the people who are trying to lead their life and get food in regular basis. Digital divide is a phenomenon that is taken into considered that leads to the social and economic inequity (Gürhan-Canli, Hayran and Sarial-Abi 2016).Social media has been another major reason of inequity in the prosecution of the racism. Different versions of the Facebook include Facebook native version, Facebook immigrants and so on are used for better management of the business that are conducted with the help of the social media. This is the main reason that the prosecution of the equity gets affected in a negative manner. In case the social media itself performs racism, the evolution of the socio-economic culture will get affected in a negative manner. In case this happens the main issue that will arise is that the future generation will not be guided in a proper manner and the equity factor will keep on decreasing. Example 1:due to the increase in the implementation of internet in the business management the main issue is that re-designing of the entire business strategies is being introduced. This includes the fact that the business organizations have to invest on huge amounts for better implementation on internet. In case the business organization is not being able to cop up with the pace the business organization will lag behind. Hence the policy makers and researchers negatively connote the digital divide(Friemel 2016). Example 2:A total of 1134 samples of young adults having impact in decision making through the social media campaigns. With the increase in usage of internet the main issue that is present in terms of social equity is that political parties who have enough money to spend on digital marketing reaches the mass easily and manipulate the decisions. On other hand the other political parties might fall short of reaching the global audience in case they do not get to access those political parties through internet(Russo and Amnå 2016).
4ISSUES CAUSED DUE TO INTERNET IN INEQUITY Conclusion From the above discussion, it can be stated that the gap in socio economy is known as the digital divide. Instead of increasing connectivity between the people, the people get more opportunities but the cost of the connectivity increases. The digital divide has become an issue because of the by-products included in globalization. The globalization is caused but socio-cultural as well as economic differences between the regions of world and the demographics of the world.
