Introduction
Computerized crime scene investigation is a part of criminological science that
incorporates the distinguishing proof, recuperation, examination, approval, and introduction of
realities with respect to advanced proof found on PCs or comparable advanced capacity media
devices (Saks, & Faigman, 2018).
What I have learnt
In the exercise done on project 1, 2 and 5 there are quite a number of things learnt. Using
the USB to access files can be so dangerous when it comes to data security. In this case one may
set the USB to continue to access the company’s data even after leaving the job.
In the first case the law enforcement officer is using a seized drive to acquire data. He
created an image so that he or she can use it to access the data anywhere he is. He is using the
image as a security key for accessing the acquired data. By placing it on a secure locker is to
ensure that the data are safe and confidential since the kind of data acquiring is very sensitive. By
following the steps what I discover is the how to evaluate the content found on the image of the
USB drive (Sencar, & Memon, 2013)
Another most important thing is that as an IT security analyst working for large
companies, you need doing regular checks on the company system. Former employees requires a
strict clean –up upon leaving the company. This is because some of the employees are cunning.
USB drives are some of the equipment which are so sensitive when it comes to the company’s
security. Using a USB drive, despite the fact that the person has just leave the company, he or
