INTRODUCTIONToday, technology has become one of the most prominent aspect in solving problems andsituations which are harming the environment and the overall humanity (Hocking, 2017). Thebelow report showcases the importance of technology in reducing the pollution. It has been seenimportant for the industries, the organizations thriving into it, the community and the peopleliving into it to make use of technology in order to reduce the pollution. The report is going tomake use of various data collection techniques and research methodologies in order to identify inwhat ways the technology can be used in order to reduce the pollution. In 21st century technology has remained theonly hope which can help in solving environmental issues. The technological industry is one ofthe rapid growing industries in the world. The constant innovations and development of newadvancements has allowed the technology to grow in terms of achieving new heights and makingthings possible which are difficult to be done on a small scale. Recent technologicaldevelopments have allowed the technology industry to transform the present global situation andit has also helped to solve issues such as pollution etc. The technology is used to identify at whatplaces it is needed to install such techniques and systems that can reduce the occurring pollution.As per the views of Devinny (2017), places such as Beijing, Sao Paulo, Paris, Manila,New Delhi and London are some of the largest cities in the world suffering from the issues of AirPollution etc. As per the report of World Health Organization, in 2012, around seven millionpeople found dead after being exposed to the air pollution. The air pollution is one of the largestand only environmental health risk. Its reduction can save lives of millions of people. In order toensure this, it is important that essential technological developments are being made in order toensure that the problems related to pollution is being solved. According to Deshusses (2017), technologies such as CristalACTiV Titanium Dioxide isone of the several technologies which is used in order to curb the emissions of pollutants duringtheir combustion. Such technologies can help in reducing the emissions of pollutants in coalplants, and place where fuel is being burned on a large scale.
