plays an important role to identify the threats or to prepare a good strategy to mitigate all the
problems. The study of crisis management begins with the large scale organization which include the
common crisis as threatening to organization, shocking elements or the less time decision. Digital
technology are advance in their terms it consists of various tools and procedures which will be helpful in
identifying or managing the crisis occur in business. St. Pancras renaissance hotel located in Euston
road, London is aim to implementing the digital technologies in order to manage the crisis.

The research is based on the implementation of the digital technology to manage the crisis occur in
hospitality industry. Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 or other natural calamities are affecting the
hospitality business. Organization have been losing their revenues as people are not showing their
interest in hospitality sector. It is also seen that there are more chances that hospitality industry will
have to face more crisis in the future. Therefore, they must need to implement the strategies and
technologies to manage their internal functionalities otherwise they will have to face vulnerable

situation in the future.

introduced to the crisis therefore the main purpose of choosing this topic is to develop an
understanding about the crisis so organization will proceed to prepare the strategies to manage all
the crisis associated with their business. As the hospitality industry are facing the major problem in
increasing their revenues after the natural calamity so that they will able to prepare the plan to
mitigate their risk.

According to the Bilic et.al, (2017) stated that the crisis which is faced by the hospitality industry
are inevitable. As due to the disaster which can be natural or man made but hospitality industry
suffers the most they are the verge of facing the critical circumstances because of this. They
stated that the crisis management theory are often use by the hospitality industry as they are
facing major problem. They suggests that the hoteliers must have to learn or prepare a proper
strategies in order to overcome the crisis which are occurring in the business.

Technologies are the best way to deal with any kind of crisis. As for the hospitality industry they
will have to understand the concept of crisis, so they will be able to find the solution in order to

Technology has helped the hospitality industry to expand their business or to grow more profit for their
business. It help the operation process as to make it easier to operate as well as implementation of this

retention as by providing better smart technological services which are able to attract the customers.
Digital technology help to identify the risks and crisis associated with the business so that organization
will prepare the strategy to deal with it to run their business smoothly.

remotely controlled by the mobile phone or other technologies so that it will attract the customers
and hotel will get more customer so it will increase their annual revenues and also grows their
brand reputation, so they will be able to make good position in market.

beneficial for the hotel industry as digital technology provide a big platform which consists of

websites and provide content about their hotel so that it will lure the customers to make
investment in their services. Digital technology practice also provide the large access of the
audience so it will be beneficial to interact with the people across the world so that it will increase

Epistemology is the philosophical study of nature this is generally concern about the expectation
about the knowledge of human. This assumption enables the understanding as to know about the
research questions and the approach which is used by the researcher to gather or analyses the data
for the research (Vasudevan, 2020). Therefore, for this research study the epistemology research
paradigm is beneficial as it enables the researcher to have faith in their data so it comes out as a
good output.

Positivism research philosophy define as a factual knowledge which is obtained from the
observation this data is trustworthy. In this it claims that the social world is considered as a objective
to make understanding. The main advantage of this type of research philosophy is that it us the

For this research study researcher will use the positivism research philosophy as it provide the
flexibility for completing the research (Haddadi and et.al 2017).

Sampling is the way of selecting the people for obtaining the information from them about the
research topic. For this research study researcher will choose the random sampling as to select the
40 employees of St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London to know about the crisis and to involve the
digital technologies in the crisis management operation.

Data collection is the important part for the research as to reach to the research outcome, researcher
select the method for collecting and analyzing the data. Questionnaire is the effective method of
collecting the data which involves the series of question which is included for the participant to
