DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF WEBSITE Introduction This report aims to discuss the implementation of the digital transformation of auction Website of Everything But The House Companyfor increasing their sales and the gain more revenue. The proper methodology for the software development is provided in this report and this report identifies the skillsets that are required for addressing the project in the terms of the human resources and the potential requirement for the recruitment. A work breakdown structure along with the project specification is provided in this report. Lastly, this report concludes with the outcome for the concerned project. Discussion Methodology background The waterfall web development is the structured and linear approach where any full specification has been developed with the phases that includes the initiation, conception, design, analysis, testing, construction, maintenance and implementation that are occurring in order that was planned earlier (Mahadevan, Kettinger and Meservy 2015). The waterfall is increasingly effective when the elements of the project are already in the place due to the predictability. The sequential phases of the waterfall model are: Requirements: the initial phase includes the understanding of the design, function of the design and the purpose of the project. The input and output specifications or final product are marked and studied (Patwardhan et al. 2016). Designing of system: The specifications of the requirement from the first phase are extensively studied in the phase and the preparation of the system design is done (Verma, Bansal and Pandey 2014). The system design helps in the specification of the requirements of system and the hardware and it also helps in the defining of the complete architecture of the
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF WEBSITE system. Software code that has to be written in next stage has been created in the next step (Edeki 2015). Implementation: With the inputs from the system design, the development of the system is done initially in the small programs called as units that are integrated in succeeding stage (Kuhl 2014). Each of the stage has been developed and then it is tested for the functionality that is referred as the unit testing. Testingandintegration:Theunitsthathavebeendevelopedinthephaseof implementation have been integrated in the system afterwards the unit testing (Banica et al. 2017). The designing of the software is done and it requires the constant testing of software for discovering if any flaws or errors that might happen in the near future. The testing is executed for preventing any kind of problems that might be faced by the client while the installation of this software is being done (Mahapatra and Goswami 2015). System deployment: As soon as the non-functional and the functional testing has been executed, the deployment of the product is done in the environment of the customer or it might be released in the market (Hameed and Oudah 2014). Maintenance: This particular step is executed after the installation and it involves the making of any kind of modifications to that system or any individual component for altering the attributes or even enhance the performance (Stoica et al. 2016). The modifications might arise due to the requests for change that are initiated by customer or any kind of defects that are uncovered while the system is being presently utilised (Çulha and Doğru 2014). The client is offered with the constant support and maintenance for this developed software.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF WEBSITE Required skillsets The development of improved website includes the various tasks that is not possible for one person to execute by their own. The skillsets that is required for the suitable team of web development are: Project manager: The team of web development requires the leader who would assume the responsibility of making the crucial decisions and would pave the way for the goal of the team (Erich, Amrit and Daneva 2014). In the development team of the website, this position is commonly referred as the project manager and this is the individual who controls the processes all through the project. The responsibilities of the project manager includes the communication with customer, project scheduling and then providing the estimates of time, planning accordingly the necessary efforts of human resource and the allocation of the tasks, and the coordination of the joint work of all the team members (Dong et al. 2017). The skillset that is most preferred for the project manager is the skills of communication and effective leadership skills. Project architect: The development of the website requires the extensive knowledge about the various aspects of working of the website. Various kinds of information might emerge from the various stages of the website modification (O'Connell 2014). The project architect is tasked with the defining of the type of website that has to be modified. The projectarchitectcouldengageindiscussionwiththecustomer.Onthebasisofthe information that has been received by them, the appropriate kind of architecture that has to be implemented is decided by them for the business needs of the customer that are increasing of the sale of the real estates (Nebeling et al. 2014). Afterwards, the approving of the architecture, the architecture could be employed part time but still it remains in charge of all the other aspects related to the backend-frontend-database exchange of data and then later the integration of the web app.
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF WEBSITE UX/UI designers: Prior the implementation of the web design in the code by the developers in the front-end, this is then manifested in the wireframes and the layouts (Cant and Cooper 2014). And even prior this, the thorough research of the experience of the users is then conveyed for understanding the expectations of future target audience of the web app. If this information is not provided then the web application could fail in addressing the requirements of the users (Inukollu et la. 2014). The skillset that is most helpful for the individuals who are working in this field is the immense psychologicaland analyticalskills, open-mindedness along with the extensive skills of graphic designing. Web developers: The website of any company comprises of two stages that are the front end and the back end, it requires atleast one developer for creating the required tasks individually (Lei et al. 2017). The front end developers are tasked with the creation of the layout that are provided to these individual by the UI designers and then transform the static images of the interface into complete functional web application. The back end developers are majorly responsible for the creation of the server side of the web application and these individual are required to be significantly proficient in the programming languages like the Python, PHP, .NET and Java as these are the main tools that are required for modification of the EBTH website (Goel and Vijay 2017). The developers of database in the development of web app are commonly performed by the back-end developers. Testing and QA specialists: The responsibility of the specialist of web quality assurance is the ensuring of the approach to the QA on all the stages of the development, it is crucial for launching the processes of QA at the initial phase of project (Larson and Tran 2014). The aspect of testing is moreover is done by the tester after the availability of the front end is done. While the early scheduling is being done by project manager, it is recommended to take into account that there might be issues that are associated with the experience of the users and it could probably throw this project back (Lee et al. 2015). The skillset that is
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF WEBSITE required for the QA specialists and the testing teams are the knowledge of the programming language and the working of website coding. There is a need for recruiting the QA specialists and the web developers team who could perform the required coding of the website and implement the changes.
